Adrian Wojnarowski         @WojYahooNBA

Free agent Al Jefferson is expected to visit Charlotte on Wednesday to meet with Bobcats officials, league source tells Y! Sports.

**David Aldridge         @daldridgetnt

Have been told the Pelicans' sheet to Tyreke Evans is four years, $44 million.

A source told Sporting News that the Pelicans’ offer is in the range of four years and $40 million, and that New Orleans hopes to bring Evans off the bench in a Manu Ginobili-style role.

**Oklahoma City has begun an aggressive pursuit of Philadelphia free-agent guard Dorell Wright, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

The return of Kevin Martin to the Thunder appears unlikely, unless the market for him dries up completely and he has to return at a far lower rate than he’s trying to find, league sources said.

**C.J. Watson head to the Indiana Pacers

**Andre Igoudala expected to speak with the Nuggets, New Orleans Pelicans, Sacramento Kings, Golden State Warriors, Detroit Pistons and Atlanta Hawks, a source told Yahoo! Sports.

**Report: Dwight Howard asked Rockets about adding another max player

**Dave McMenamin         @mcten

**Report: Bucks, Suns, Pistons may try to poach J.R. Smith from Knicks

**Report: Knicks have interest in Monta Ellis for some reason

A union of Ellis and the Knicks is viewed as a long shot, as the Knicks have only the $3.2 million taxpayer mid-level exception available. Ellis just opted out of a deal that would have paid him $11 million next season in Milwaukee.

But Ellis, 27, and his Washington, D.C.-based agent, Jeff Fried, are known to be willing to compromise in order to sign with a contending team. And the Knicks, who face the free-agent loss of sixth man of the year J.R. Smith, would provide ample opportunity for Ellis to showcase his scoring prowess deep into the playoffs.

**Chris Paul confirms he’s “all in” with Clippers

This will be a five-year, $107 million deal, the max he could get. Paul has an opt-out option after four seasons.

**The Golden State Warriors  are exploring trade opportunities for All-Star forward David Lee and the three years, $44 million left on his contract, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.Lee, 30, is a popular and well-respected player within the Golden State franchise but his contract is considerable, and moving him for a star – or a player on a shorter deal – makes financial sense.

Imo, New Orleans is a legit Playoffs team this upcoming season if they can add Tyreke Evans. That's going to be a young and exciting team: Jrue Holiday, Eric Gordon, Tyreke Evans, Anthony Davis similar to a young GSW in the West also.

how quickly that franchise is turning around compared to us

We must be full court press on Al Jefferson. I thought for sure we would be getting in contact with some of these big SG's. I've seen nothing but AJ stuff.

I think the QO for Hendo ended the conversation for a SG unless we lose him to someone else. And atm we still have Gordon.

**The Wizards and Eric Maynor have agreed to a multi-year deal where he will back up John Wall, according to Michael Lee of the Washington Post. The terms of the deal are not yet known.

**@Marc Stein

Mike Dunleavy has gone ahead and verbally committed to sign two-year, $6M deal with Bulls, according to sources with knowledge of the deal

**Andray Blatche has agreed to re-sign with Brooklyn, as first reported by longtime NBA scribe Peter Vecsey. Howard Beck of the New York Times reported that it’s a one-year deal worth $1.4 million, but that won’t make up anywhere near the entirety of Blatche’s salary for next season.

**Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports:

Martell Webster is Washington’s “No. 1” priority, the source said, in free agency.

The Wizards also texted their former forward Antawn Jamison, expressing interest Sunday night and would “love” to have him back, a source said. Jamison also is interested in returning to D.C., where he played for from 2004-10.

• Big man Al Jefferson is in Charlotte and will spend a chunk of Tuesday meeting with the Bobcats (via Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports).

• The Bobcats also want to re-sign their own free agents Gerald Henderson and Josh McRoberts.

• With Jefferson clearly bolting Utah, the Jazz would like to re-sign Paul Millsap. The two sides met right after free agency opened. Still no deal in place. The Jazz have the right to match any offer Millsap gets from another team.

• Josh Smith will meet with Atlanta on Tuesday.

• @Marc Spears

The Houston Rockets told Atlanta Hawks free-agent forward Josh Smith during their meeting Monday in Los Angeles that they will make him a contract offer if they don’t sign Los Angeles Lakers free-agent center Dwight Howard, a league source told Yahoo! Sports.

Smith understood the Rockets’ position and wasn’t offended. Smith hasn’t met with the Atlanta Hawks, who could pursue a sign-and-trade deal to get something in return for him.

• Kwame Brown opted in with the Sixers before free agency started, he will be with the team and make $2.9 million next season.

• Shawn Marion opted in with the Mavericks for $9.3 million next year rather than test the free agent market.

• In news that would shock nobody, the Celtics may look to trade Gerald Wallace and Kris Humphries

• Reports are Milwaukee, Portland, San Antonio and Atlanta are meeting with Zaza Pachulia, trying to land him.

• The Bucks, Denver, Memphis are making a run at Tony Allen.

• Not long after free agency opened, the Lakers called former Sixer Nick Young.

• The Bulls and Mohammed have agreed to a one-year, veteran minimum deal. Reported by Aggrey Sam of CSNChicago.com

• Report: Raptors looking to flip Marcus Camby to Contender

• Minnesota has 4 year offers out to J.J. Redick and Chase Budinger, sources tell Y! Redick is priority, but Wolves want to sign one of them.—

Adrian Wojnarowski (@WojYahooNBA) July 02, 2013

• Lakers pursuing outside shooters for D'Antoni's system.

    • Just going off the draft sims and he's always sitting around 20 lol. First year in a while where we haven't been thinking about the draft already in late October so haven't really looked into the top 15-20 picks yet. Also the qb class is super weak so he probably will sneak up into 10-15
    • I fully expect them to pick up his 5th year , and they're waiting for him to put a full excellent consistent season of QB play in year 4 or 5. If that don't happen,  they'll eventually cut ties.  Here's to hoping he just goes on a team in 2026. The worst thing he could do is continue to see-saw us to around .500 records because it might be impossible to replace him at that point unless youre willing to do the veteran qb carousel poo we did from 2019 to 2023.
    • What do you think of Bryce Youngs career thus far? Are you excited about his progress or is it not enough for you? I included a poll of ranking his performance through 3 years thus far.  I personally think he's made some decent progress. Has had some high moments (last half of 2024, Rams game, ATL game in 2025)  but in my mind, those are still outweighed by the many more lowlights thus far (ex turnovers, missed throws, poor decisions)  It's a very mixed bag for me. He's done enough to get a 5th year option but by no means should we lock him in with a 50+ mil a year multi year deal. I want to see him play consistently well for a full year before that happens (yes, I'm still saying that going into year 4. That might be telling).  Just sucks when you see CJ Stroud, Jayden Daniel's, Caleb Williams almost immediately lighting poo up with their arm talent. Maybe Bryce is just an ultra slow burn. I don't know what to think anymore. Guess we're gonna be stuck with him for a whilr unless we end up being bad enough to earn a high pick next year. I doubted it lol. Overall Stats for his career:       ● 14 W - 30L (regular season)       ● 0-1 playoffs record        ● 61.4% completion, 8291 passing yards, 49 TDs, 30 INTs  Year 1:       ● 2 wins, 14 losses      ● 60% completion rate, 2877 passing yards, 11 TD to 10 INTs, 5.5 yards per attempted pass Year 2:        ● 4 wins , 8 losses        ● 60.9% completion rate,  2403 passing yards, 15 TD, 9 INTs,  6.3 yards per attempted pass  Year 3:        ● 8 Wins, 8 Losses         ● 63.6% competition rate, 3011 passing yards, 23 TDs to 11 INTs  Playoffs         ● 1 game in year 3 ( 0 - 1 in playoffs)         ● 21/40 (52.5% completion rate), 264 passing yards, 1 TD, 1 INT.
