Not sure, I doubt it's Iginla with how many teams are probably after him. Jagr makes more sense but I don't know.

It wasn't Iginla, he just signed with Boston.

Must have been for Micheal Ryder who signed with the Devils for 2 years at 3.5. JR said the player preferred centre and was looking at around 3-3.5 million for a season.

It would be nice to get a second line winger so we can bump Skinner or Ruutu to the third line with Lindholm. I'm not a big fan of just throwing Lindholm to the wolves, and that's essentially what is being done if he's not given at least given one veteran winger.

I thought Lindholm couldn't even play this year.

He can if he makes the roster, JR say yesterday that he anticipates that Lindholm will center the third line.

I would imagine his close friend Victor Rask will be on one of his wings, but it would be nice if they could get an experienced NHL winger on his other.

I found out today that Khudobin was born in modern day Kazakhstan, but when he was born Kazakhstan was part of the USSR, so technically he is Russian.

Pitkanen, Ruutu, Oskar Osala, Rasmus Rissanen, and Tommi Kivisto are Finish

Tlusty and Michal Jordan are from the Czech Republic

Semin and Evgenii Dadonov are from Russia

Sekera is from Slovakia

Lindholm, Rask, and Karlsson are from Sweden

Hofmann is from Switzerland

Everyone else is either American or Canadian.
