New truck customizing

Zod

Recommended Posts

Due to the addition of our family I went out and got a 2013 Tundra. Its a V8 5.7 liter super cab deal with tons of room for everyone.

Anywho, wifey is 5'4 and can't easily climb into it. Are those nerf bar deals difficult to install at home? Also, any recommendations on spray in bed liner?

Those Tundras are freaking huge.

Yes, I rate them at a zombie plow through factor of 134.

Plus soon I will have two teenage boys, a wife and daughter, and tons of boating or camping gear to haul around.

Welcome to the Tundra family.

I have the double cab on mine but may look at a crew max down the line.

How do you like that engine?

It's pretty sweet. Going to take a while to retrain my foot, it's used to my Tacoma four cylinder. Will make interstate merging much easier

I miss my Tundra but don't miss weekly $100 fill ups.  Zod those nerf bars are really easy to install. The holes are already there under the truck.

I bought a 2012 crew max last year. I love it, and I'm able to fill up for around $75 a tank, which lasts longer than I thought it would. The step bars are a big help for women and shorter people. They make it a lot safer for getting in and out if we're going somewhere where she's wearing heels.

My only gripe is that there's no middle seat in the front. Other than that, it's the best truck I've owned.

    • Im not angry. Im disappointed. I want to win. Anyone who has watched Bryce play the last 3 years and thinks that this team has in any way seriously addressed the glaring deficiencies in our QB room is deluding themselves. It's been explained ad nauseum how our FO has protected Bryce from feeling even slightly challenged or pressured. A GM without an interfering owner would have brought in another QB to at least give the team a better chance at winning. We just gave an extension to a QB that only got 3k yards on the last play of his 16th game of the year. Indy admitted AR wasn't good enough by bringing in Jones to compete for the starting role. Tennessee drafted Ward to replace Levis. Stroud hasn't repeated his 1st year and Mills' performance was decent when he filled in after Stroud's injury and some were calling for him to remain starter. His future there is still in question even with a 5th year. We should have done the same, especially given that Bryce was benched.  Bringing in Grier is just another glaring billboard pronouncing the obvious. Dave Tepper still has his hands in the daily operations of this team. He controls the QB room because Bryce was his pick. Until Tepper finally admits that Bryce has barely lived up to the standards of a NFL Qb, we're going to spend our days reminiscing of when we were mediocre and finished 9-7.  It's just discouraging. We'll address every position on the field except the one with a glaringly obvious shortcoming. I had hoped Tepper really had backed off. Bryce's 5th year, Dalton's 2 year contract then trade, Kenny Pickett, Will Grier, Jack Plummer, and  Hendon Hooker say otherwise. It already feels like it's going to be a hard year of Panthers football to watch.
