Brainstorming for a new media outlet hosted by us

Im getting more and more jaded everyday. I flip to this news station and I hear "Carolina's strong O line blah blah. . . " orrrr  some utter bullshit like "Johnny Manziel is getting help from the Cam Newton legal team" orrrr "Cam has to be more mature". I just cant take it anymore.

 

So I have a solution. There are plenty of streaming services now like justin.tv and so on where one of us could host a show. Ahhh thats nice Razey but whos gonna host? You? Sure, maybe you too, and yes even you over there with the Otah Jersey, yeah you too. Why not? Im sick and tired of listening to bullshit SO I got the idea that why dont we have a huddle sponsored streaming tv channel.

 

It will have hot topics that other radio/tv guys are talking about so we can sit there and mock them LIVE. Yes live streaming mocking other shows that are live. Think Mystery Science Theater except with football instead. . and more. We dont have to mock other shows, we could just talk about other things Panther related. Lots of guys stuff would be involved including 30-60 second clips from your favorite movies or maybe a song here and there to liven things up. A chat room for typing AND a chat room with voice chat to participate in during the show. We host a ventrilo server and we boot anyone whos acting like a jackass during the show. . ok ok we'll boot anyone who is overly being a jackass. Kur6 and Z0d would be immune of course. . . and Scrumtrilescent too if he brings ice cream. . . not Panthro though, he gonna eat all the ice cream.

 

I always say, twenty years from now we wont be watching Emeril, we'll be watching some little old Italian women from the upper east side cook for a family of 15. We could invite douchebags in like Alejandro if we want a clown to dance and entertain us. . . and if we're lucky maybe get some players to stop in for a sec.

Voice comms are not expensive, btw, Mumble is pretty cheap I hear. I also have experience with streaming and expertise in routing 'internets" traffic (QoS).

True story:

I went to the Panthers-SF game back in I wanna say maybe 03 (can't remember but it was a game where Moose had like 3 touchdowns iirc). Anyhow, after the game I was by the visitors tunnel saying good game nice win blah blah and my stripper ex takes off my Peppers jersey she was wearing and throws it at Ricky Proehls head and he was laughing and signed my poo. So I have a Ricky Proehl signed Julius Peppers jersey, which is kinda weird. But yeah, Proehl is the man.

She was trying to throw it toward all the guys walking into the tunnel like someone please sign this and it happened to hit Proehl right in the noggin. It actually like covered his head. He was laughing I think because he looked up and she was so pumped that she got someone's attention that she was borderline screaming. She was excited. I'll give her credit though she always knew player names and everything and when it hit him she was like Ricky can you please sign my boyfriends jersey he's a huge panthers fan. He was really cool about the whole thing. Plus she was a stripper with big fake titties so that probably didn't hurt. I'd take a picture of it but he signed the back of it on the 90 and after that game Peppers stopped the team bus and got out and signed the front of it so I had it framed with the Peppers autograph showing not the Proehl side.

I am completely for this. If funding is a concern, we can always do a member supported format like PBS does. I'm sure between the hundreds of us giving a 10 or 20 here and there we can fund whatever the hell we want to do.

For format you could use one similar to around the horn, where theres a short part each couple of minutes where the host directs conversation. Using a bell or a horn or something to signify for someone to finish up or youre gonna get muted.
