no we can expect to be able to stop the run now so we won't have to bring another man in the box which means that our corners can be more physical off the line, which are their strong suits.

Coverage ability is still the weak area for our secondary....getting physical at the line would increase their odds of getting beat once the opponent gets off the jam

your opinion. i'd rather have norman, florence and munnerlyn use their strength and size (minus cap) to distrupt their routes initially so our front 4 have more time to get to the qb.

 

that is the line of thinking anyway, and i think that is what the coaching staff wants to do. last year they played soft because they were so scared of getting gashed on the run. When we stepped up towards the end of the season, you saw more physical play by the corners and better defense overall.
