How about those RED SOX!

that was amazing. you cannot lose faith in this Sox team. They have walked off SO many times when it looked like their was no chance. They are just so hard to kill. We now have all the momentum going into Detroit, and we can't play worse than we had for the first 15 innings of these two games.

Let's go kill some Verlander.

Game 3 is huge at this point for Detroit.  They have to win with Verlander on the mound or they are in danger of going back to Boston down 3-2.  At that point I would have to like our chances.

The Dodgers better do something or the Cards are looking at a nice little break because I think we could be in for a long one.

Because the NL game is also on tonight and having them at different times will maximize viewership.

Tomorrow the times are reversed.  We had the late game last Saturday and the early on this Saturday (should those games be necessary).  So both teams have one early and one late game during the week and on Saturday.

Great game tonight.  Just as we had our chances in Game 4, Detroit had theirs in Game 5.  The staff and defense came through when needed.  Two games at the Fens, but they have the game's second best 1-2 punch.  Just need one of them.  Go Sox!!!

6 down, 5 to go!

    • Actually we like to run more than most, and the dropoff isn't that drastic. We seem to be pretty much middle of the road. The Facons, Bucs, Browns and Bengals are the ones where running drops off markedly when they start trailing. Our line on the chart, like I said, is somewhat middle of the road.  As to whether or not if it's good or bad is anyone's guess by looking at this. I suspect people who like Old school football won't be upset at this at all. The thing is, we would have to know the game scripts and the situations, as running and or passing making sense is contextual. I know that I haven't necessarily been enamored with Canales's situational play calling. At the end of the day, I believe in using the run to set up the pass and the pass to set up the run, and trying to keep the opposition off balance, but I still believe that you should run it down their throats if they can't stop it.
    • Hey alright baseball is awesome.  I cheer for the Braves but I watch all 30 teams.  I pay for MLB TV and both local teams because I'm insane.🙃
    • Because he's from Charlotte, grew up a Panthers fan, and could still make amazing money as an elite LG for his hometown team. And while I think he's a quality starting LT, he's not a Top 5 type of player either.  If he could prove to be a true elite LG, the money might not be that different than what he could make as a LT anyways. I'm not saying he will, but I don't think it's out of the realm of possibilities.
