We lost by 5 points in a game that was 12-7 and your arguing over whether captain deserves a spot on the team or not. Get real. We need to score more points. Thats up to the offense. Compared to this time last year when we lost to tampa and there were seemingly no positives to now loosing narrowly to a superbowl contender and really playing well in all three phases is a big difference. WE WILL BEAT BUFFALO and WE WILL BEAT NEW YORK to finally get cam into the realm of a winning record.

When a QB under pressure is still scoring 320 passing yards it is legitimate to be worried by your DBs.

Right...that's it...it wasn't Godfrey's job on those 22 highlights of him coming in late at the last minute giving up a TD over the years.

 

He's just so rangy that he "almost" makes the play...ROFL get a clue

well when your done playing the blame game on everyone so it makes you fell better inside, reality will be waiting..........you don't bench a guy like Godfrey after the first game for a mistake were not even sure he made but if you want to throw UDFA back there why not? works in madden right?

"A guy like Godfrey" is an average to below average player, and he has been making mistakes since day one, so it's nothing new to the fans who actually pay attention to the games.

 

We can't bench him because that's just how bad we are at S.

were not going to have beast players at all positions, as much as i would like that it's unlikely Your right Godfrey has been making mistakes since day one but your blind if you haven't seen the improvement over the years......he's a better harder tackle then before and plays better coverage as well.....he's no ed reed or any other top safety in the league but he's very solid for us  and still has some potential as the defense get's better and if were upgrading the secondary Cb is number 1 on the list imo.........

FWIW and I have no issues admitting when I'm wrong....Rivera basically blamed Thomas for getting beat for the touchdown...

 

That really is more of a indictment on Rivera since lord knows WTF kind of calls he is doing to have our Safeties always in no mans land.

 

 

Just go back and watch the play and try to figure out what Godfrey was supposed to do..because it he wasn't supposed to help over the top...near as I could tell he was just covering nothing.

in all fairness i though the play before he blew it, at the moment before he dropped the ball i was like what the absolute fug happen Godfrey, but idk same here have no problem admitting when i'm wrong but i do know Rivera runs the 46 from time to time with a single high safety if i'm correct, tate and rice were on the other side as well then there's Wilson evading and buying time....don't get me wrong could have fully been his fault i'm just not for benching for that
