You have to admit Rivera coached a good game today. Not much to complain about. He finally remembered Cam is nigh unstoppable when all he needs is a yard. Doesn't mean Rivera finally learned how to coach or that he should be off the hot seat. But when his ass is on the line, he pulls his head out of it.

I'm not so sold on doing it to make the offense mad, but I would've done it because the D has made more impact in the previous 2 games than the O. Why not swing first with the strongest arm.

Have no problem with that, but saying that the reason the offense scored was because he made them mad by letting defense start the game (and not mentioning the 180 on play calling for the offense)...well.. I have an issue with.

In one interview I heard on the radio driving home, I seem to remember something about wanting to put the D on the field first to give them a chance to set the tone of the game, because they were still so ticked off from last week.  Sure looked like it was a good decision from where I was sitting.  And yes, as HC, it probably was his call to take the leash off of Cam and let him do his thing with the option. Except for a couple of player's execution mistakes, it all worked damn near perfectly didn't it?  Four consecutive quarters of great football on the field/sidelines/and from the box, a game many were expecting us to get slaughtered, and half of this place isn't happy and is nitpicking? Furthermore, RR seems to have learned his lesson on that fourth and one call too.

Agree. Very little blitz used. The front 4 just abused the nyg line. I think star is a difference maker in the middle. He seems to be blowing up the middle of the line a lot.

He is looking great. When you include the sack he was a steal. He reminds me of a motivated Kris Jenkins.

This^^^^^^

I heard the radio interview too. You are right. He put the defense out there first because they were angry and mad about last week and were looking to make up for it. And boy did they.
