true but a part of me also likes that recievers are gonna be aware of him and hear footsteps.

 

now i want the pick and i don't want him to cost us penalty yardage but there is something to be said about striking fear in opponents in our secondary, especially with this front 7 we have.

 

 

Very true.  These players watch our film before they play us.  A 20-yard dropped pass is more valuable than a 15-yard penalty.  Besides, when they are thinking about something other than their job, mistakes happen.

The thing about Godfrey is he seems to get frozen a lot.  That is why he seems regularly late on deep fades.

Yes, at Iowa.  I thought he played some S there too.  However, since being here, he has played SS too.  I have never been a fan of Godfrey.  Overrated and overpaid, in my opinion.
