ESPN is gonna be pissed if we keep winning...

You are a bigot who judges people by the color of their skin. I feel kinda sorry for you.

Good cop out. I think you just realized you're found out.

That's not true dude. They're putting the ball in the air more now. All the crap people were saying Luck was doing and RG3 wasn't capable of doing, he is now doing it. Luck is now doing what RG3 was doing last year but without the rushing yardage. Talk about irony. The guy is accurate. The offense is more QB friendly statistically now. Stop hating. At least watch the games instead of feeling yourself.

This...isn't incorrect though.

A lot of RGIII's numbers came late game. He was under 100yards against the eagles until the 4th quarter iirc.

I'm not saying RGIII doesn't have talent...but why isn't he getting the same flack cam got?

The media made rglll the golden boy before he was even drafted, they made cam the devil incarnate before he was drafted. They gotta stick to their storylines man. Although they seem to be turning on rg3lll now that he isn't winning.

In the eagles game they were down 2 possession with 9 minutes left. That's not garbage time. The game against Detroit was well contested and lost by a td. Only the green bay game wasn't close.

The reason Cam is getting flack is the same reason Manziel will be hammered. Plus Cam doesn't have wins to remedy that. Not anyone is following but RG3 is getting hammered all over the media the last few weeks. Don't get it twisted.

This forum don't like when the likes of RG3 gets attention from the media while they mirror the media's opinion that Luck is at the top and the rest are bottom bitches who can't measure up. That's too hypocritical. And I'm saying Luck is the least talented of all of them. He is neither fluid nor that accurate.

Well, Cam was partly responsible for that. He gave them a story to run with. He had to go to junior college to reincarnate his career.

14 to 33 going into the 4th quarter? The eagles were playing really lax.

And I said most, not all. I know the Lions game was close.

I watched the entire Eagles game and most of the Green Bay game (didn't catch RG3 week 3) and the dude could barely complete a fuging pass until the defenses called off the dogs.  Especially not one downfield.

He was like 11/24 99 yards 0 TDs and 2 INTs before the Eagles got lax on him and pumped the brakes midway through the 3rd.  Then suddenly RG3 starts completing those little dink-and-dunk passes that the defense handed to him on a silver platter and it boosted his stats considerably.

The Green Bay game was similar.  The offense couldn't do jack poo in both games until it was completely out of hand.

Sorry, but the dude has been below average so far without having the threat of getting burned by the monster run game read option combo that he and Morris present which opens up his little signature dink-and-dunk screen passes which go for more yards than they normally should.

I said it all last year, the dude is overrated.  He has never impressed me as a passer.

I for one, am so tired of seeing RG3 pressers on NFL Network and ESPN. Some player actually called out NFL network as vomiting and saturating certain stories constantly (mentioning RG3 and his knee). And the NFL analyst lady was like woah there and after she talked with the player via cam, then played RG3 presser and RG3 news. Lol.

Cam deserves to be talked about more then at least RG3 and Kap at the moment. He will be discredited by the fact that we weren't expected to go to playoffs anyways (outlier) and they will then proceed to talk about the QBs who were expected to have good seasons and be powerhouses and ended up short. That will always be the bigger story is the big names not doing well. Rather then a team surprising people. (This is all if we make playoffs which ya...).

The thing isn't about numbers it's about names and their fav teams to talk about. And they compare those fav select players numbers against their other fav select players. Cam is then lost in the black abyss.

Couldn't have said it any better. I'm also totally sick of seeing RG3 coverage on pre-game shows especially. I don't watch much NFL coverage if it's not Sunday, but every week you'd think only the Redskins were playing based on what the NFL Network and Fox are airing.

I know this opinion won't be popular, but if Cam continues to play better than the others, the media (ESPN included) will hop back on the Cam bandwagon. Remember how much coverage he got his rookie season?

If the others (RG3 and Kaep) continue to play poorly, the media will push them aside like they did to Cam. There is just a lot of novelty when it comes to rookies.

Why do fans think ESPN is out to attack Cam and the Carolina Panthers. They talk the truths. Plays well = recognition. ESPN was all over Cam's balls in 2011 were they not?

You're kidding right? You mean the year of the The Golden Calf of Bristol?

Fuuuuug how do I embed friggin videos

    • Saw this show up in my new feed. Nice to see a couple of our rookies making it into the top 5 so far, even if it is a pff measure... From https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-top-15-rookies-week-9-2025 ... 4. TE Mitchell Evans, Carolina Panthers (78.7) Evans struggled in the Panthers’ tight win over the Packers, finishing with a 41.8 PFF overall grade — third worst among tight ends this week. He was not targeted in the game and played only one snap in pass protection. He did log 15 run-blocking snaps, and although he earned a 68.9 PFF run-blocking grade in zone looks (seven snaps), his 39.0 mark in gap schemes (second worst for the week) dragged him down to a 46.6 PFF run-blocking grade overall — sixth worst for the week. Despite seeing zero targets over his past two games, Evans still leads the Carolina tight end group with a 74.3 PFF receiving grade. He has caught all nine of his targets for 90 yards, six first downs and two touchdowns. Evans also leads the Panthers’ tight end group in PFF run-blocking grade (72.2). He has recorded a 20.5% positive play rate across 175 snaps.  5. WR Tetairoa McMillan, Carolina Panthers (78.6) McMillan had a better day against the Packers, recording four catches for 46 yards. Most of that production came in the first quarter via two 16-yard catches — one of which he snatched from Carrington Valentine’s hands, who was in perfect position to break up the pass. McMillan accounted for three first downs on the day, although Green Bay was able to limit his impact after the catch, holding him to 0.8 yards after the catch per reception. McMillan now has 41 catches for 558 yards — a top-15 mark. He is also tied for second with 19 explosive gains of 15-plus yards. Three of McMillan’s catches against the Packers came between the numbers, bringing him to 22 for 318 yards and 19 first downs (tied for second most) this season. He owns a 26.1% threat rate and a 76.6 PFF receiving grade between the numbers. He also ranks in the top 10 in explosive gains (10) and yards after the catch per reception (5.5) within that area of the field.
    • At least we don't need to hear overreacting about towels ...
    • Actually there is, try being a Charlotte Hornets fan. I mean the team fuging moved at its peak and hasn't recovered since and that was 25 years ago
