Make a Run at Dwayne Bowe in the Offseason?

Since it's a bye week, I figure we can speculate about random things. Who knows if KC would even be interested but...

 

Dwayne Bowe's numbers are way down this year, and he just doesn't seem to fit with Alex Smith. I get the feeling we might be able to pull off a Greg Olsen type trade i.e. a talented player who doesn't fit the team's current system.

 

If KC isn't going to use him, they could benefit by getting his contract off the books. Of course, I don't know if we'd have the cap space to make it work, but just imagine Bowe and Ginn on the outside with Smitty in the slot and Olsen as our TE.

 

Probably not possible, but a man can dream.... a man can dream.

Just makes too much sense. Gettleman loves his former Giants, Nicks is a beast that would fill a huge need and is only 26, free us up to focus on O line and secondary in the draft.
