Well, as of today, Yahoo fantasy baseball has it ranked this way

What I find a bit weird about the sports media people is that they only consider offensive numbers when making their decisions. That's just kind of strange to me. I don't know how fantasy baseball works, but maybe that's the influence fantasy has on real sports.

Even so, I don't see how anyone who bitches about the AS game being a sham, can even begin to be upset about perceived "snubs". If you couldn't care less about the game, then why would you care who does (or doesn't) play in it?

BTW - Wakefield just won his league leading 11th game (also tied for most wins in all of baseball). :D

I don't bitch about snubs, just wanted to contribute to the spirit of the thread.

I find the whole thing ridiculous.

Like, everything. The fact that it "counts", yet is determined by retarded fans. That you have to have a representative from each team.

Either make it for fun or make it for real, a bastardization of the two is stupid, which is MY only gripe.

I didn't mean you exactly....I remember last year talking about the whole "it counts" thing. And I don't think I disagree. For instance, my sister (a Phillies fan) has been voting for Victorino for the last spot every night repeatedly while she watches the games. I didn't know it was unlimited voting now, thought they still held to the 25 max as it was during regular voting (which is ridiculous as well...1 vote is all you should get). She doesn't really like that it's unlimited but figures since they allow it, she might as well take advantage of it. Personally, I generally don't watch the AS games (in pretty much all of the major sports).....but I'll watch this year to see if Wakefield gets in.

    • Great season regardless of what happens. From starting out 4-14 to ending 44-38 is incredible progress and future is bright from here. I do think we can beat the Heat and then win on the road against either Orlando or Philly assuming Embiid doesn’t miraculously return sooner. But if not, a higher draft pick is nice too
    • I know a DT that's asking for a trade: 🤔 maybe a home discount can be worked out. Dan Morgan could create up to $80 million in space through restructures of stars like Derrick Brown, Jaycee Horn, or Taylor Moton. They could also include players like Tershawn Wharton ($18.6M cap hit) in the trade to balance the salaries. Carolina Receives: DT  Dexter Lawrence II New York Receives: 2026 2nd Round Pick (No. 51 Overall): A premium Day 2 selection that fits the for  Lawrence  after his 0.5-sack season in 2025. WR  Xavier Legette : A young, high-upside receiver who provides the playmaking depth HC John Harbaugh needs for his offense. 2026 4th Round Pick: Immediate mid-round value. 2027 4th Round Pick (via MIN): Future capital acquired in the  Adam Thielen  trade.  ----- Stone Forsythe* (another young player as a potential trade option)provides immediate offensive line retooling for HC John Harbaugh.    John Harbaugh's history in Baltimore proves he values draft volume over individual superstars.    Just my 2cents
    • Moved to Tuesday, not Wednes because of scheduling with Flyers game or something in Philly. But I don't feel good about the Heat.  It has been a great season regardless.  Team just been playing so hard to move up since a bad start and just picked a bad time to get gassed.  It's like almost everyone is shooting cold at the same time even wide open shots.   Maybe atmosphere and playoffs kick off a spark.  I'd rather be in a series than a one and done though. The team has a good foundation to build on regardless of what happens.
