1-4 start for falcon nation?

will failcon nation Rise Up if their birds fall to 1-4 to start the season?  And then have the bye week to bask in it?

 

This was the consensus pick to win the division and in my mind this 1-3 start puts them on the edge of a comeback or a very steep fall.

 

Jets are not the terrible team everyone expected, QB play excepted.  They just got embarrassed at home due to horrid offensive play but the falcon defense could be just what the Dr.  ordered.

 

Meanwhile the failcons are struggling to protect mattie ice and quality jets defensive backs could cause more ruckus in the backfield with tight coverage.

 

This is my upset pick of the week.

      Damn back to 10th. I only caught the last 5 minutes but some of those 3's were horrible lol. In that close of game you can't be launching those many hail mary's when you could be chipping away from the foul line. I guess no one wanted to get in the paint and didn't trust the refs to give them the calls maybe? Gonna watch the highlights to get a better idea of the flow of the game

      I agree.  The Big 12 is a good conference, and he is the swinging dick in that conference.  If Bill Self retires, that sets Kansas back a bit, and Arizona moves even further ahead as the best team in that conference.  Arizona can crush west coast recruiting with USC / UCLA no longer being relevant for LA kids, and Gonzaga not being able to compete moneywise.   If Lloyd comes here, he will be second fiddle to Duke every single year in NIL and recruits.  Not to mention the entire SEC and Big East for kids who want to stay in those regions to play. This is why I keep saying go get Mark Few.  Has proven he can do more with less from an X / O perspective but can also recruit All American players and compete at a high level. He's a god at Gonzaga, but for $9M he'd make the move as that's 4x what he's making at Gonzaga, and makes him the highest paid coach in the country.
