Silatolu Out for Season - ACL

That would be a kick in the nuts ... one of the 3 worst injuries we could have.

Silatolu was getting better and I hate this for him.  However, there is no dropoff with Wharton.  We need to add another OL for depth.

... Did you stop and watch that no drop off you speak of yesterday when he took Silatolu's place? .....

It was about as equal to the dropping off a cliff......

Travelle Wharton should have been starting anyway, or is he still trying to get into football shape? -_-  I say shuffle the whole line and put Chandler at LT.  I'm tired of seeing Bell give up a bunch of sacks.  By the way, the Silatolu project is a failure, as well as the Kugz project.  Let's get a real coach who will draft O-lineman that can play at this level.

lolololol I'm so glad we signed sione fua back rather than add another desperatley needed OL.

what are the odds we still don't add another player there? or does Folkerts get signed back? lol

Haha how predictable is this franchise?

    • After last season, it was the same question. And the answer most people came to was "If he doesn't make the playoffs, he's gone." He made the playoffs. No matter how it was done, we made it to the playoffs. He's safe. He's going to have a chance to keep working this out, even if next season isn't a playoff one.  I think we'll do better next year than we did this season. There's something being built here.
    • The NBA is a very fickle league. Kon is one of the hottest rookies in years and beyond just his play on the court he is a very steady competitor and that translates to the rest of the team. That has been a glaring absence with the culture of this franchise through the bulk of the LaMelo Ball years that's just being completely blunt and realistic. The enigma of LaMelo Ball is he is entering year 6 and still either red hot or ice cold. We need him to find that sweet spot. Logic dictates the Hornets will want to see this core again next year. But the clock is beyond ticking at this point. It's put up or shut up. Especially considering what the Thunder managed to do recently. I'm hopeful they can keep these wins rolling in and get some much needed playoff experience under their belts which will help substantially.
    • I think as long as the Panthers are competitive with Canales they should keep him. Pepper needs to repair his/the teams image as a place prized free agents aren't hesitant to consider. Just dont do any crazy poo for a few years.
