Can I ask a question? Why does the luck hate need to stop, but when RGIII, Wilson, or Kaepernick gets bashed nobody says a word?

 

And it is not just here. Go to Washington, San Fran, or Seattle's message board and it is the exact same thing. The Cam, RGIII, Wilson, or Kapernick is bashed and no one says anything.

 

Yet if anyone mentions the QB that almost led the league in turnover's last year and whose rating was slightly higher than Weedon's it is "don't put down luck just to promote newton (or wilson, or rgiii, or kaep).

 

Why is he held in such high regard that no one should question him? Why is he beyond reproach?

 

well this thread is about the colts/chargers game and more specifically andrew luck, but i'll bite

 

the luck hate is just much more glaring than that of rg3, wilson, and kaepernick, IMO. not only that, but people here will completely make poo up in an attempt to crush luck. other than newton, luck is the only QB that was asked to put the offense on his back and throw the ball all over the field. rg3, wilson, and kaepernick all ran semi-gimmicky offenses that were schemed to protect them. wilson turned out to be more than that, rg3 and kaep still have to convince me.

 

i don't see anyone hate on wilson, only complete imbeciles so i tend to ignore them. wilson is a stud.

 

rg3 could very well be out of the league in a few years because of his tendency to take huge hits and get injured. not to mention without his running ability he is a pretty mediocre passer.

 

the kaepernick hype legitimately confused me. i think this guy is on the most talented roster in the entire nfl and still finds ways to struggle.

 

as for the bolded part... i never said any of that. he makes his mistakes and can catch some flak for it; that's all well and good. what i don't like is when people twist things to make luck sound like some sort of scrub.

name one thing you don't like about russell wilson's game

He isn't that good. If he played on a team without a top 3 run game & defense he would be completely irrelevant.

      Damn back to 10th. I only caught the last 5 minutes but some of those 3's were horrible lol. In that close of game you can't be launching those many hail mary's when you could be chipping away from the foul line. I guess no one wanted to get in the paint and didn't trust the refs to give them the calls maybe? Gonna watch the highlights to get a better idea of the flow of the game

      I agree.  The Big 12 is a good conference, and he is the swinging dick in that conference.  If Bill Self retires, that sets Kansas back a bit, and Arizona moves even further ahead as the best team in that conference.  Arizona can crush west coast recruiting with USC / UCLA no longer being relevant for LA kids, and Gonzaga not being able to compete moneywise.   If Lloyd comes here, he will be second fiddle to Duke every single year in NIL and recruits.  Not to mention the entire SEC and Big East for kids who want to stay in those regions to play. This is why I keep saying go get Mark Few.  Has proven he can do more with less from an X / O perspective but can also recruit All American players and compete at a high level. He's a god at Gonzaga, but for $9M he'd make the move as that's 4x what he's making at Gonzaga, and makes him the highest paid coach in the country.
