I give the bucs only about a 50% chance of scoring on offense.

Here's the $64,000 question: Has anybody laid a good hit on Glennon yet? I'm not talking a "love tap", I'm talking a knock the hell out him hit, like CJ, Hardy or any of our guys are capable of. I'm not so sure he can endure too many. I know with his height, his size may be deceptive, making him appear more fragile then he truly is.

My new mantra. They are not a good team. We are a pretty damm good team. We win.

If, we can shut down what little running game they have, Shiano will shut it down completely. They will be one dimensional by the second quarter. Win-win. They want to see what Glennon can do. We want to rush an inexperienced, immobile QB throwing the ball all day.

They are a dink and dunk team, that throw it deep occasionally. Sure it can keep your QB upright, but it is an arduous way to move the ball. And you can lose patience with it when you get behind. And they will be behind all game.

If Cam and Shula continue to jibe. We will move the ball and score some points. Teamed with our Defense. Tampon is staring at another loss.

Their only hope to keep the score close is to have zero turnovers, and hold us to 9 or less possessions. If they can do that, they only lose 30ish-10. If they allow us to get 10 or more possessions? It could get real ugly.

Our offense isn't really designed to be high scoring. It's a methodical ball control system that uses a balanced ground and pass attack to move the chains and grind opponents down.

We have an "on schedule" offense. We have to see if the team can win if that schedule is disrupted.

I actually think is a good thing as we have been a "feast or famine" offense under Chud. Our current offense is designed to work in concert with our strength - the D.

I think you are close to where I am with this Offense.

Methodical is perfect. This Offense is built to move the ball down the field, and score. Take what the D gives you, move the chains, and score. That is who we want to be.

You are the first one to use that phrase this year. "On schedule" is an apt description for this Offense. 2 things make this such a great way to run the O. 1. We are usually successful on 1st down. 2. Cam is completing 75% of his 3rd down passes. Those 2 things are huge in keeping us on schedule.

If you have been paying attention. You would have noticed we have had a poo ton of 3rd and shorts. So, what we are doing is in fact working.

I would not call it "Feast or Fammine". We have moved the ball against every D we have faced. We have just had a hard time scoring. Too many of those WTF? moments at critical times. Move the ball down the field only to have. Drops, penalties at the worst times, Fumbles, Sacks, and INTs. SOMTETHING always seems to rear its ugly head to take points, and even games, away from us.

We are dominant when we limit those plays. We are now learning to win even when those plays crop up.

I love what Cam and Shula are cooking up. They are fast becoming my favorite duo. Superman now has his sidekick. Shula needs mad props for how he has turned this situation into a positive.

Sorry if I wasn't clear. I was saying Chud's offense was "feast or famine". I think some of the reason it's taken a while for Cam to really get on track this year is that he had to unlearn some of the bad habits he developed under Chud i.e. always looking for the homerun.

My worry about this offense is how it will operate when we can't stay on schedule. Can we come from behind? Can we get a quick score when we need it? That remains to be seen. Of course, if we keep dominating teams, I guess we won't have to :P

Feast or famine was Chud's offense. Cam and Shula are more drive and dine.

Your concerns over this years Offense is understandable. Until you go through a situation, you cannot learn from it. We were behind against the Hawks late. Drove down the field. Ready to grasp Victory from the jaws of defeat. Nope...Fumble. WTF?

Point being. We can move the ball. Can we score? I think we have improved that aspect, hence, 3-1.

As to staying on schedule? Now that Cam has become Captain Checkdown, along with his incredible 3rd down passing. We should be okay, most of the time. It will take an extraordinary D to limit us. Hellz, we have to wait 2 more weeks to find out. Tampon, nope. Atl., nope. 9ers? Can't wait.

IMO, Cam is back. That should be enough, teamed with our D, to now make us relevant. We keep beating the teams we should, the respect has started. When we start beating teams that already have respect, that's when we know we've arrived.

9ers and Pats back to back is what I'm waiting on. We come out at the end of that 6-4. (Which would make us 11-6 in our last 17 games.) Folks are going to take us for real.

Sorry, Cam doesn't have off-the-field and mental issues.

I can't say the same for Matty's 'clutchness'. That guy sure finds a way to crumble no matter how many top-tier weapons he has at his disposal. What a joke.

Yeah that's probably why matt Ryan leads all nfl qbs in 4th qtr comebacks since 2008. Because he crumbles?

Lol try again

So did Josh Freeman at one point. Lulz try again.

You just sound stupid kid.

Ryan leads ALL qbs in 4th qtr comebacks/game winning drives since 2008. That is 6 years of consistency not one fluke season. That is the very definition of clutch you inbred hick lol

Try again
