Well GOD DAMN!

Let me have TINY RICHARDSON then if he played that well vs. Clowney. JUST GIVE ME A DAMN OL.

Huh? That was by FAR Clowney's best game of the year. He lived in the backfield that game. Absolutely destroyed Richardson all game. They tried to go 1-on-1 with Clowney and it showed why teams don't do that.

Cyril Richardson will be first OG gone because he can play LG. However, as we are in need of a RG I think going for Gabe Jackson in the 2nd makes  more sense as he is a physical freak who is excellent in both the running and passing games. Matthews is going first round unless something drastic happens. Cooks is good but I prefer Mike Davis from Texas. He's just as fast with as good hands but he is taller (with a decent aerial game) and is better against press, should be there in the 4th.

I'd like us to go:

1. Mike Evans, WR (Texas A+M)

2. Gabe Jackson, OG (Mississippi State)

3. Trade plus Lafell and 5th from Beason trade for a higher 1st pick to get Evans and 4th, 6th and 7th rounders

4. Mike Davis, WR (Texas)

AND Ja'Wuan James, OT (Tennessee)

5. Deion Belue, CB (Alabama)

6. Jeff Matthews, QB (Cornell)

AND Stanley Jean-Baptiste, CB (Nebraska)

7. Terrance Bullitt, LB (Texas Tech)

Clowney has said that Lewan and Richardson are the best he has ever played against.

Richardson did better last year than this year against Clowney but did not give up any sacks.  Clowney did get a lot of pressures by going inside and stunts.

He was quicker than Richardson on several run plays.

Overall, if we pick in mid twenties, i am hoping at least one of the 6 OT's in first round will still be there.  Richardson was my pick to make it all the way down to us.

    • I wanted someone to hire him so we got the picks, but I'm also not upset that he'll now be back. I genuinely don't understand why so many fans on here dislike him so much.  No, he's not perfect and made some mistakes this year, especially at the end of the playoff game and going so soft in coverage on the final drive. But considering this place torched him all offseason for us having the "worst defense in NFL history" last year.  Said in the whole pre-draft process how we had to go defense in round 1 because of it and then complained the rest of the offseason that we didn't do enough to improve the defensive roster. How do people say all that about the defense and then complain when he turned that same unit into a pretty respectable defense this year.  They were really the only reason we were in a lot of games for most of the season, as the middle part of the season they really stepped up and were playing like one of the better defenses in the league. I don't see any reason we can't improve even more next year if we spend another offseason focusing on adding pieces on that side of the ball, which we should be able to do with our draft picks and cap space.
    • And they are perfect during the month of February! The fact they're 11th in the league now, but best in the league since Dec 6 tells you everything you need to know.
