The 3 of them have been going back and forth for the last few years doing it. I think it's awesome.

It started a couple years ago when Miami won on a last second lay up. Love the mutual respect

Excuse my NBA celebration ignorance, but what is the significance of this?

It was a thing LeBron started last season (first time I ever remember seeing it anyways) when he hit a game-winner over Boston during the middle of that 27 game win streak they went on.

 

It kinda' blew up after that and he does it in big moments.  It's all over commercials and poo now too.

 

 

I thought it was pretty awesome of Cam, especially since D-Wade and LeBron did the Superman at the Bobcats game.

The casual sports fan might notice that he does it, as do his sons in the new Samsung commercial.

Somebody please post the gif of Cam's celebration after his rushing TD today! It was epic.

Did the LeBron thing where he pushes everything down and then bangs on his chest, followed by the salute, followed by the Superman... By far his best celebration!

I thought so.  Some posters got their panties up in a wad about it when it happened because they don't like LeBron or the Heat... but I saw it as a sign of respect, game recognize game kind of deal since Cam was coming off that amazing rookie season.

 

LeBron even commented about it afterwards talking about how he really liked watching Cam play and it was just a shout out to him.
