Division vs Wild Card break down

Highly unlikely we would meet Arizona in the playoffs, especially not at their place.

They are a wildcard team which will have to travel in the playoffs

We still have a shot at division and if we win a wildcard, the only way we would go to Arizona would be in a 5-6 matchup in the NFC championship game.

Look good right now.....at minimum for wildcard spot....AZ still has to play San Fran and Seattle....so as it looks that division will have two teams and ours will have two teams....AZ and San Fran will fight it out in theirs and we have head to head with San Fran....really hope they lose tomorrow tonight just incase...Pretty much we want San Fran and AZ to lose except when they play Seattle.....KEEP POUNDING!!!!!

Arizona is better than the 49s IMO.

Outside of Seattle, Saints and Carolina, I think Arizona is the toughest team in the conference.

I would much rather play Dallas, Detroit or Philly. (If we are a wildcard.)

Why is it that Arizona is a matchup problem for Carolina?

To me Carolina is a better team. I still don't understand how the Cardinals slapped the Panthers around to be honest.

NFC Playoffs Picture

(1) Seattle
(2) New Orleans
(3) Lions
(4) Dallas

(5) CAROLINA PANTHERS

(6) Arizona

Arizona: Philly, Rams, Titans, Seattle, SF

SF: Rams, Seattle, Tampa, Atlanta, Arizona

Let's just win out and we wont have to worry. But Arizona and SF will probably be battling it out for a spot in the Playoffs. Rams are playing good football, and both Arizona and SF will have to play Seattle again. That week 17 will tell which of two team will make it.

We're fighting for the no.2 spot!

Yeah it's almost as weird as when the Jets bitchsmacked the unbeatable Saints

I compliment your team and you throw this out? hahaha typical Panther fan. I can't even have a civilized discussion apparently.

It's going to be so fun watching the Panthers get their ass beat in the dome though.

I think Carolina is a lot better than Arizona.

If I had to choose a tougher opponent between the two I would say Carolina easily. How the hell am I trolling by saying Carolina is better than Arizona?

I watch a lot of football, and I've seen both teams play multiple times this season.

    • Been here since the Coliseum days. Hornets were the first pro team I ever rooted for. If they're ever going to get out of the gutter they have to establish a culture. They are trying to do that. I have no idea if it will be successful but it's a start.
    • I don’t think I'd go that far but there is definitely legitimate reason to ask how much he actually values winning and being great as a basketball player. He is very easily distracted with off the court stuff. This has been a public criticism of people like LeBron James with some of the newer generations of "stars". And it is 1000% valid and needed to be said. All I can say is I hope this is the year. If it is it will be apparent fairly early on. But I get the sense if the same themes continue as the upcoming season progresses the FO could look to move him before the trade deadline. It would suck for a multitude of reasons and I don't want to see it happen but if it did it would be on LaMelo and LaMelo alone because they've given him the keys and are finally putting pieces around him. If he wants to be a great basketball player and win he will be here and do what is necessary for the team to be successful. If not well....
    • Haha.  I remember my first Hornets season.
