The reality is that a contract can be structured in a number of ways which shows the player that you are willing to pay big time but not commit 50 million in guaranteed money.  Remember when Haynesworth got a 100 million contract on paper that turned out to be worth less than 40 in reality.  You can load it with options, contingencies and incentives so it is potentially worth a ton of money which gets paid only if it is earned.  We should be able to sign him to a contact that is a win-win for all sides.  If we go deep in the playoffs it will help as well as he sees us as a potential super bowl winner which is a big deal for most players.
