Who could have predicted

That back in week 1 a deangelo williams fumble on the seattle 5 yard-line would all but be the difference between who would be the 1st seed and 2nd seed in the NFC. I dont even see that as a bad thing----- i see it as a testament to how far ron rivera and this team has come. That afternoon steve smith said we would beat them in january, funny how that prediction looks more and more true as each week passes

When referring to Seattle that day I think Smitty said that we would 'see them' again in January.....not 'beat them'

I agree.... That Buffalo Bills game stings the most.... They are so bad this year that no one even wants to touch their players in Fantasy Football...

The loss in Buffalo was the best possible outcome that day. That was the moment and catalyst that resulted in the birth of Riverboat Ron and set the pNthers in their quest to the division and playoffs

I believe that a close win there and none of the last 10-1 happens.

Thank you Buffalo

    • I presented that scenario because this is a home game and we seemed to have improved in some capacity in that area as of recently. The problem with the possibility of sweeping the Bucs is this team has had a habit of quickly falling victim to momentum shifts. The Bucs are coming off a bitter loss the same as the Panthers but the Bucs have a much better proven track record this time of year and they have performed when the pressure is on unlike our Panthers. We have a shot against the Seahawks here in BOA but that is a matchup that could quickly get out of hand because they are a well coached team and that goes back to the momentum shifts I mentioned. I just don't see this team beating the Bucs in their stadium to close the season. Tall order to say the least.
    • I’d give it another year for Sanders and Evans, I don’t much care what you do with Tremble’s spot. Let him have another year or maybe replace him. Haven’t looked at his contract so that may be the determining factor.
    • Following the crazy up down pattern we finish 9-8 with an improbable sweep of TB, and lay an egg in the home playoff game.  I don’t know if I can sign on to sweeping TB but I suppose it’s possible, they aren’t really that good this year.    ps I can buy beating TB Sunday and losing to Seattle.  Then it just gets to can you fluke one game. Any given Sunday. So we’ll see.
