Hrm. Underlying racism much?

Lol i feel there are more people WANTING to call out racism, then there actually is racism. This had nothing to do with Cam being black, white, yellow, or even green. Fact is, running QBs dont have a history of success. Of course Cam could change all of that, but most people would perfer a god-given arm (of Brees/Rodgers/Manning) over someone who does the most damage with his legs.

Obviously, within a few years that entire narrative will change with all the successful young stars, but as of now, i wouldnt expect anything different of people's "wants"

Lol, Cam isn't a running QB to fit any definition of one that existed before he cam into the league.  The problem with "code speak" is that the true meaning of the words can always be defended by the speakers as having no underlying meaning, and they will always be able to save face.  It doesn't matter what excuses people try to bring, those of us who've been hearing the code speak all our lives know what it means. 

 

If you can cheer for Clausen, or any of the other bums we've had as Panther QBs, despite their lack of any talent whatsoever, everyone should be on board with Cam, our 2 time pro bowl 24 year old QB.  If not, go cheer for a "traditional QB" for some other team, Cam is going to be here for a long time, JR said so.

      Dan's been part of 5 drafts, 3 as an assistant to the "last guy" and 2 leading the way. The first 3 with Fitts were pretty ugly overall. Last year's draft, his 1st, isn't looking hot. This year looking like a winner.  He's been part of some bad FA decisions, some good ones, and right now we have the most expensive OL in the league with our franchise LT on the last year of his rookie deal. That's going to get even more expensive.  I'm not ready to crown him as a GM god quite yet because one good year isn't making up for all the bad that's been done the previous 4.

      It is what it will be. I’m over bitching about Young myself. It changes nothing about the situation to constantly complain about him so I personally am not going to do it. I’m looking for another target because this one is played out and it changes nothing.

      I’m getting his jersey. I never buy jerseys. But today I bought 2 at the team store. I got a Delhomme and Peppers legacy jerseys. They didn’t have my size in. DB jersey. Its at the top of my jersey hit list.
