Game 36: Charlotte Bobcats (15-20) vs. Washington Wizards (14-17)

Recommended Posts

The Cats are at home taking on the Wizards tonight... the Wizards who struggled early this season are starting to come on as of late and will be a decent test for the Bobcats tonight.

Charlotte Bobcats Depth Chart

SG: Gerald Henderson, Ben Gordon

SF: Chris Douglas-Roberts, Anthony Tolliver, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (injured), Jeff Taylor (injured)

PF: Josh McRoberts, Cody Zeller, Jeff Adrien

Washington Wizards Depth Chart

PG: John Wall, Garrett Temple, Eric Maynor

SG: Bradley Beal, Martell Webster

SF: Trevor Ariza, Otto Porter Jr., Chris Singleton, Glen Rice Jr.

PF: Trevor Booker, Nene Hilario, Jan Vesely, Al Harrington

C: Marcin Gortat, Kevin Seraphin

Key Match-Up: Gerald Henderson vs. Bradley Beal

Bradley Beal has been playing great this year and in my opinion would make the Eastern All-Star Team if he wasn't fighting with Wade, Afflalo, and DeRozan.

Go Cats!!!

    • I'm more impressed with the UDFA that the guys they have drafted in the first the last 2 years. A whole lot of prove it is still needed before any improvement should be talked about seriously.
    • Sure.    ignore that he said this roster wasn’t good in 2023 to 2024 but keep up the effort
    • While I don't believe its a must win, (we have been better on the road this post season) it is definitely A NEED TO WIN the longer this series goes the more pronounced the Canes advantage on rest and health will be! If we hold serve at home in games 1 and 2 guaranteeing a 6 game minimum series for them if we lose the road games..... by the game 4 and 5 I expect them to be beat they have played A LOT OF HOCKEY the last three years, they have MINIMAL rest off a more physical than one might have expected series vs the leafs.... you know Tampa took their pound of flesh in round 1 from them. Combine all that with the fact that even though this year's canes squad isn't as talented as last years this IS a better squad than the one they swept last time that had McKenzie Mckeathern on line 1 Turbo with a broken hand a banged uo and eventually concussed Slavin (and even though it was a sweep 6 OTS and 4 1 goal losses is hardly dominant)  This year Bob hasn't been superman (hes probably gonna still have a great save percentage agiast us just a side effect of our style) Thatchuk is maybe 50% (3 game winners agiast us) their defense no longer has Gudas and several other downgrades.  While the Canes have a healthy and performing Svechnikov along with other big guys to counteract florida like Carrier, Jankowski, Robinson.   I by know means think it will happen but I either see this as a low scoring dog fight or a series were the canes surprise and end up dominating.
