If the power goes out with the weather... what good is spoiled milk?

 

I don't understand the whole milk & bread thing, either.

 

Well, if power went out because of snow and ice.....just set the milk on your deck or patio.  I am sure it will stay cold enough.

 

Duh.....

 

My kids cannot survive without their cereal, milk and snacks, etc.

I was living in Wilmington when hurricane Bertha came through back in the 90 s - the eye passed directly over us and it got completly calm - neighbors and I were out in the road removing tree limbs and etc in case emergency vehicles had to get through  - we were rushing before the back side of the storm hit.  Down the road comes a  woman in her car - she was heading to the store to stock up on baby diapers.
