It's a Showdown!

we are playing a team at home that just lost two big games in a row.

do we really want to push it?

they could be done officially (as a team, not in the playoffs)

they could be mad and getting ready to bounce back

they could be splitting with us in the playoffs

all very likely scenarios at this point.

it's looking good for us but it is also looking scary.

i hope the team is serious about putting a hurting on the giants.

dallas maybe on the playoffs. not sure i want to face them. esp. if they are playing strong.

be happy we aren't as sucky as the saints but don't get too cocky yet. there is still a lot to be played. we are on a roll....let's just hope we keep on rolling.

I live in the greater NYC area. For almost the entire season, the grandstanding for the Giants around here has been almost unbearable. I bring up the fact that we have a good team too, and get laughed at. Well, there's blood in the H2O and we're hungry.

The crying on 680 The Fan tomorrow morning is going to be EPIC, and I'm going to thoroughly savor the flavor of this week. Foxy is NYG kryptonite, and we bury these roaches in 7 days.

who cares if they're mad. The question is who's going to want it more. Right now, I would say Carolina has more talent than the Giants is playing much more sound football. If the Panthers can put a performance together like they have the last 2 weeks, get ready for some home playoff games !!

    • Oh I was.  But we still had great players.
    • You keep AT unless he WANTS to get traded to a contender during the season.  He's valuable, TET, XL, and Coker need to learn how to be PROFESSIONALS on game day, practice, and the off-season.  That's what you get from AT.  ADDITIONALLY, he is clutch.  He is steady.  At is that savvy vet who will always flash. I really think they keep 7 WR's if Brycen can operate on special teams.  Week 1 you may see us heavy on WR and OL because of the massive amount of injuries across the league.  Renfrow may even be cool starting on the PS since he lives close and wouldn't need to uproot his family.  You can still make nearly 400K as a vested veteran on an NFL practice squad.  You see more veterans hanging around since the age limit was lifted. I think the 1st 53 and PS looks like so...... Offense: (25) QB (2) Young / Dalton RB (3) Chuba/Rico/Etienee WR (7) T-Mac/XL/AT/Coaker/Renfrow/JHjr/Brycen TE (3) Tremble/Sanders/Evans OL (10) Icky/Lewis/Corbett/Hunt/Moten/Brady/Mayes/Yosh/Zavala/Kingston Defense: (25) DL: (6) Brown/Robinson/Turk/Bobby B/Cam Jackson/Sam Roberts OLB: (5) Wonnom/PJ2/NicSic/Princely/Incoon ILB: (5) Rozeboom/TW/Windmon/Cherelus/Bam CB: (5) Horn/MJ/CSW/Thorton/Evans S: (4) Tre'Mo/Ransom/Demani/Scott Specialists: (3) JJ/Fitz/Martin Last spot: Right now I have it as a toss up between DJ Johnson and Bam.  Until NicSic can come back we need an extra edge.  Do we utilize TW more as a blitzer from the middle to keep Bam safe?  I'm not worried about DJJ getting picked up from another team, a little more concerned with Bam. Practice Squad: DavidMoore/JamesMitchell/JacolbyGeorge/Tuttle/Crumdley/Ray/DJJohnson/Kantra/Carter/Blacksheer/ Wright/KrysBarnes/MichaelReid/Safety pick up/RB pick up/QB pick up
