In response to letting Greg hardy walk away in FA.

"Sitting down with Dave Gettleman and talking with him about the direction we're gonna head and how we're gonna get things done, they're gonna work to get that taken care of, so I'm pretty excited about that. I like the fact that we're gonna have our guys as we go forward."

wow didn't see this coming... I must admit I thought GH was gone.... Maybe TD punked him in recent comments? I have mixed feelings about signing but DG knows better than us. I got a feeling we're going to be cutting some people. Peace out Captain, Godfrey, and unproductive O-men. nevertheless, I guess our next question is what's gonna happen with the oline, secondary, and much needed #1WR.

i saw the interview...pretty good stuff. from him i got that WR and CB were priorities.

 

they are still in eval process on their own roster, but looking to see what's available in the draft.

I got a feeling DG is expecting McNutt will make a splash this season. hahaha.... but seriously, I'm cool with us fixing these areas. Ginn and Mitchell are must haves unless we're upgrading. they have set a new standard.

sometimes the answer is on the roster. sometimes the answer is in the draft.

 

we need help at OL, WR, and CB...and it just so happens that this draft class is deep there.

 

we'll still see a lot of one year low cost deals this year, but we won't be the only team with them. that will probably be the case with the majority of FAs this year.

Well.... I don't think anyone of really wants to see the Kraken in another jersey. Let's just hope other other fears are put to ease and we don't over spend. 

Real question would you rather have Nicks or Hardy?

the last thing we want to see is GH lined up against the Bell...

I actually love Greg Hardy I do! But we are a secondary away from a mirror image of seattles defence!

Offensively we need two new tackles all our guards back healthy our RBs back healthy and if we keep smitty and got Olsen we need atleast two starters at WR out of the draft or FA! By keeping hardy which yes is great, but unless gettleman been lying to us and we got a poo ton of dollars there is now way we can resign this guy and have a much more effective offense than last year, so expect the same defensive games offense putting up ten points.

I'm not being a doomsday either before people start saying that, but it's like we keep one guy to sacrifice about four positions of real need, makes no sense to me, hope the front office has a good plan up its sleeve.

      I quite literally have said multiple times this week that Bryce did not play well on Sunday. What in the world are you even talking about? Jesus Christ son, at least pretend to have a grip on reality rather than trying to constantly make yourself the victim. Hell, look at you now pretending to be victimized by poo emojis and the ignore function because of your views on the QB. I don't give a poo if you like Bryce Young and have had no issues interacting with other posters that are done with him. You, however, cannot have a difference of opinion without resorting to insults. Case in point, your very first response to me in this thread. That is what got you put on ignore and poo emoji'd: you acting like a shithead. We've had this back and forth multiple times now where you say I don't like you because you don't like Bryce, I clarify that I just don't like your engaging in bad faith and acting like a bitchy little teenager whenever your perspective is challenged. I thought that maybe, just maybe we could start the season off on the right foot and have an exchange of ideas without the weird sexual tension or whatever it is that has you all hot and bothered whenever you see my name. Clearly, I gave you too much credit. Back to the toilet you go.

      It's a QB driven league, which means that all of the parts surrounding the QB have to be in order. No OL? QB isn't going to have time to throw or be able to hand it off. No weapons? Won't matter how well they play, can't catch it for them. Bad coaching? They're not the ones designing and calling plays. Football is one of the ultimate team sports. All 11 players need to be in sync rather than one player being dominant (imo). Hell, even with Tom Brady, not a single one of his rings came without a top-10 defense on the other side of the ball or a top-10 OL in front of him. I can understand people having lost patience with Bryce, especially starting off on the wrong foot for the third season in a row. That's not an issue. The issue I have is with folks being intentionally misleading and attempting to tell other posters what they're not allowed to talk about. Considering how often Red has claimed others have done this to him it is interesting at best, disingenuous at worst for him to turn around and do the same.
