CAROLINA-CHUCK: PRE - FREE AGENCY 2014 MOCK OFF-SEASON

Cb is not a luxary pick. It's as big a need as OT and WR.

Im tired of a bandaid secondary. We're playing in a division with top notch receivers. The team that won the SB had a hell of a secondary.

You wanna know who we have to go up against next season? Julio, White, Vjax, maybe even Watkins, Green, Josh Gordon, Marshall, Jefferey, Megatron, Antonio Brown, Nelson, Cobb, Harvin, Colston, Jackson, Cooper, Maclin, Torrey Smith, Jennings, Patterson, etc.

Every year the huddle changes their mind. In 2012, fans were vouching for Stephon Gillmore at 9. Today, fans are saying cb is not worth a 1st round pick. Smh

Wont matter who we have at CB if we cant protect Cam and put up points. We were an elite on D last season with scrubs. Our offense sucked and only got worse with Gross leaving and I assume LaFell.

CB is a luxury pick this year.

I guess CB is a luxary pick when you have White, Norman, and Thomas.

i like the two corners don signed to furture deals- DE'ANDRE PRESLEY De'Guan Menzie. i believe one could fill the 4/5th role. plus the market seems to rather rich in mid-late value CB. If the coming draft in deep/rich at spot and you play that spot, well teams rather deal with the draft. contracts are cheaper and players are younger. this doesnt work if you are a stud.

the case for CB, is that no OT is worthly of the 28th pick when time comes. WR, you may get a very similar player with the 60th pick as the 28th pick, SOooooo why not pick a CB thats the highest rated on your list.

im on the draft 4-6 offensive players and 3 out the first 4 picks needs to on O. CB is right there after WR, OT..... so if a CB is 1st, it better be followed by a few WRs&OLmen. for best results 2-OT, 2-WR, 2-DBs 1-BPA(prefer TE or LB thats a special teamer. (not Kicker or punter))

CB, at this point, is nowhere near as big of a need as OT or WR, for several reasons.

We get it. You done said it many times.

Like said above, OT is a glaring need but who the hell are you going to get at 28? Moses, Mewhort, etc will be a reach.

At this point, it makes more sense to go for a vet OT to protect Cam. It'll be between a CB or WR at 28.

It's just a mock. Some of you guys should chill. If you dislike it that much, go make one that has a WR or OT at 28. Lol. The huddle. Smh

Moses is not really a reach at 28. Seen numerous of mocks with him going in the first round. His range at worst is late 1st - mid 2nd. Also seen mocks with Cyrus being slotted to us at 28.

I think Moses is a reach in the sense that he is probably a RT in the league. Mocks are just slotting the next highest rated T into that slot for us because we have an obvious hole but that doesn't mean an RT in the first isn't a reach.

Time will tell. I like Moses as a player but I wouldn't spend a 1st in him. 2nd round pick would be a no brainer though.

    • Not sure how much he was a long term piece of this team.   Sucks to not have him as part of the rotation.   Looks like it's Lee Hunter time.
    • This post was an error. Oops and sorry for the errors in the previous one. Too slow to edit.   We’ll see what they do.
    • I am not sure he will put the over the games but we’ll probably have them.   Two things I am thinking.  We have 4 preseason games.  All the coaches have enough service time to know the standards that are in place for decades. If I recall it was play your starters just a series to start woth and build it up until week theee where play a lot and you have week four to set hour roster. Evaluate before cuts.   Bevell will certainly have the whole thing down pat.   I’d they don’t do the fries and frie air will worry too. Because it is set up to do that.     I have said since they went t three preseason people have to figure a new way are still feeling it out and trying things.  We don’t have to this year.
