Merril Hoge: Clowney has very poor football skills; Khalil Mack best defensive prospect I've ever seen

DROY and DPOY in consecutive seasons. He is well on his way to becoming one of the greats.

I can assure you this one thing, by the end of next year's season another fan-base from far far away will proclaim their top 10 pick will be the greatest too. Just chill out with this craziness. This is football we're talking about here. It means nothing to be labeled the greatest in 2 years. He hasn't seen much yet as far as scheme is concerned. And, we're not winning 9 straight next year again. We're no longer under the radar and have no secondary; we'll get exposed a lot through the air. Just chill out with that stuff.

Reading comprehension. I said he is well on his way to becoming one of the greats. I did not say he was considered the greatest nor do I believe that. Personally, I find it impossible to label any one the greatest simply because football changes from generation to generation. You would be hard pressed to find someone from any fan base that would disagree with my two sentence post that for some reason you to see to be a fallacy.

According to another poster, Luke is only the second player to ever win Defensive Rookie of the Year and then Defensive Player of the Year, so let me reiterate, he is well on his way. Meaning he has set the foundation for an illustrious career barring any unforeseen circumstances.

Just watch the damn game for the moment. Enough of this 'he's gonna be' craziness. Nonsense speculation.
