2014 NHL PLAYOFFS (Round 2)

The Rangers don't belong and should be effectively trounced by Los Angeles. Unfortunately, the Rangers-Montreal matchup is nothing close to as good as it should be once the Rangers injured the Hab's starting goalie.

I thought Chicago would be tougher than LA, but Crawford is now a head case, giving up too many goals in very short periods of time.

Alas, none of the teams I was pulling for are in it- Boston, Chicago, Anaheim...

...and before I forget, fug the Rangers.

Montreal's goaltending isn't even a problem at all. They're just bad.

Really hate analysts doing all they can to discredit the clear facemask on the hockey helmets. Just about every other league other than at the pro level uses them and have no problem at all with them. Some even use the full metal cage and have no problem. I can't wait till the NHL loses it's alpha male mentality and get smart and start using them. It would really cut down on a lot of injuries. It's only common sense too. You have a flying puck moving around at fast speeds all over the ice. You need to protect your face.

it surprises me that Montreal hasn't taken a few more shots at Lundquist....not shots with the puck....but physical shots.  Rangers have been all over Tokarski and obviously knocked Price out early.  Lundquist to Talbot is a huge drop off.

    • I wouldn’t be surprised if the Pats win it all or at least get there. Maye is awesome.
    • Young quarterbacks Drake Maye, Bo Nix, and Bryce Young have led their teams to undefeated records since October.   Drake Maye has guided the New England Patriots to a 5-0 record in that period, with 2,285 passing yards and 17 touchdowns in nine games. Bo Nix has directed the Denver Broncos to a 5-0 stretch, throwing for 1,976 yards and 17 touchdowns, contributing to a 7-2 overall start. Bryce Young, in his second season, has led the Carolina Panthers to a 4-0 run since October, accumulating 1,390 yards and 11 touchdowns amid a 4-4 record.   Undefeated QBs since start of October (min. 4 starts)   Drake Maye 5-0 Bo Nix 5-0 Bryce Young 4-0   Bryce Young when asked about his mindset during game winning drives: "You don’t rise to the occasion you fall back to the level of your training."
    • 1. Cowboys-No explanation needed. 2. Rest of NFC South equally. If I had to pick I would say Falcons.    3. Eagles- Both of the games I have attended there the fans were so horrible. The fan base is so ridiculously misbehaved, I’ve never seen such immaturity. 4- Lions- I have cousins in Michigan that grew up Lions fans and they are some of the most obnoxious people I have ever met, as are all of their Lions buddies. The NFL has been lucky that Detroit has been in the cellar for its eternity.    5. Tie between Bears and Vikings. Both act like Steelers, Cowboys, Niners fans do with nostalgia and legendary seasons but neither have ever really had them. They act like they each won 5 super bowls in previous decades but never accomplished poo outside of Chicago in 85.
