Gross on WBT radio starting at 10 AM

To critique, Jordan is very good at leaning on some of his experience and personal anecdotes to fill time while he acclimates to a host position.   I think he is new to the chair but has a very good knack for interviewing sports figures (and it may translate to other areas).  I think that the setting is a bit foreign to him from an overall click here/there and do this/that standpoint but once he gets that behind him he should be ready to go.  I personally like Frank Garcia but I think Gross has a much higher ceiling (Gross is at least as good as or better than Garcia now).  Look forward to hearing him/seeing him.  Refreshing broadcast.  Travelle Wharton seems to be a good guy as well.  Love the player interaction with Wharton, Gross, Jake and Piggy.

 

Garcia is horrible radio. He seems like a guy that I would like to get a beer with but as far as radio goes, Garcia isn't any good. He's one of those dudes who has some cool stories, but he's a meathead and just rambles and rambles on the radio. He talks a lot and doesn't really say anything if you understand what I'm saying. WFNZ in general is awful. Believe it or not though - Garcia isn't even the worst person during that time slot. Nathan Connolly is maybe the worst person on WFNZ and that is saying A LOT.
