  1. If he is BPA, then yes. I am a believer in Dan at this point and hope that he doubles on his strat from last draft. T-Mac wasnt the biggest need, but at a first round position, over-drafting for need is bad. We had XL coming back (we didnt know he'd catch rabid Racoon Disease in the offseason and forget how to be even an acceptable WR), Thielen coming back (yes...old AF thielen was a 1k reciever) and Coker coming off a surprising season...if you asked RIGHT AT THIS SAME POINT LAST OFFSEASON if we should draft Defense or T-Mac where we were last year, I guarantee 70-80% would have said "WHY THE fug ARE WE TAKING A RECIEVER!?!?!". We're getting close, but you build a winning roster by Drafting studs in the first round and depth after, and Studs dont come from "Well we needed a Long Snapper", they come from "I dont care if we don't need a Receiver, That dude is THE DUDE"
  2. good for him...but bigger is realizing that we are starting to develop talent to the point that when our FA's hit the market, teams ACTUALLY want them. hasnt been that way in a minute.
  3. This was a super interesting analysis....and I will say I dont think it prevents us from looking at Safety in the draft. IF Ransom takes a step up and outplays Moehrig, there is an out for them after the year as a potential cap cut. EVEN if not, if you are right and Simmons shows some promise as a Big nickel and Moehrig gets injured and Ransom looks good (or even if Moehrig looks bad) I could see him being a cap casualty in 2027 as long as we feel we have enough talent there as starting potential. Lotta football to play and Lotta injuries to happen. Im hopeful because his measurables are through the roof, but unless they translate you still gotta go with what you got.
  4. Depth, NBD. Bring him in and see if we need him. Honestly Im starting to like not just our starters, but our depth across the board. Guys like him, Mitchell Evans, Camron Jackson, Demari Richardson, Jimmy Horn, Treymayne Edwards, and Corey Thornton are guys that wont JUMP off the page at you, but to have a successful team you need guys who can come in and play a few snaps and take pressure off, not starters.
  5. For the jets? I mean, dude might as well be a HOFer for putting up over 10 yards in that dumpster fire behind planned parenthood shitshow of an offense and Qbs they had last year.
  6. I wouldnt worry too much about that. Yea they were teammates but Bryce knows T-mac is his bread and butter and Coker is a reliable guy, this IMO would make him more overlook someone like XL, Jimmy Horn, or Tremayne. Solid piece and someone he trusts, could be a steal, could be a bust...lets see.
  7. Nope, never cheap shotted a panthers legend while also actively participating in headhunting for bonuses. He also never really poo on the panthers like Cam Jordan did. Dont want scummy players.
  8. I still hate Roman Harper, fug him. I dont care how many times hes on panthers radio shows. that dude can go fug himself forever.
  9. I would hate him more than I ever could hate Roman Harper in a panthers jersey. fug him.
  10. Considering what we've spent, Im fine with it honestly. Decent depth piece.
  11. I think its obvious...if bryce DOESNT pan out, the team is going to be trash. Penny Kickitt will lead us to another QB.
  12. Guys, Im goin to the ER....this erection aint going away any time soon...
