  1. Past hour
  2. Since I started playing and watching football, one of the start things I learned was the OL affects the whole team. So I want to find and pay a fair market value in order to have the best unit possible.
  3. Frank and Canales have both told everyone Bryce can't throw the hail mary.
  4. lol, how do you lecture folks about not watching games and then not know about Bryce being taken out for a hail mary? and yeah, Cam got subbed out because the coach knew he didn't have the arm for it. That's what coaches do when you don't have the arm for it.
  5. I just seen the injury report- My brother from another Lewis is DNP... Gods....They could be without 4 starters, Motown is LP. He was wearing a huge elbow piece before the injury. They seem to already need Corbett......not to be a top backup but to start.....
  6. Lmao arguing for several hours on the internet then bailing because “actually I’m in France”
  7. When did he get benched for a Hail Mary pass? WTF are you talking about??!! Cam did for Heinicke after his shoulder injury. Do people on this board even watch the games?
  8. Morgan finished 2nd in tackles in 2005 so he was still effective when he played. I expected you to discount the rest of the defense. But your opinion about the other guys is very skewed to your agenda and not universally shared. But I am going to.let you guys argue among yourself as it is 1030 pm in France which is the only reason I am posting at all. And I will be here and in Barcelona the rest of the month. So save all the comment to me until then. I doubt I will be checking in much and in comparison these tired old arguments don't compare to the Louvre or Notre Dame which is where we went today. Got to get sleep to head to Nice tomorrow to watch my son in law compete for the US in the Mondial du pan international bread competition. I might be able to watch a game the next few Sundays. Au revoir.
  9. 3 things remember about that Monday night game 1. The packers fans were drunk as hell I’m Uptown before the game as most arrived around 11am. It wasn’t pretty 2. I got to meet Kevin Green by total accident at one of the events on Trade St by the Omni. He looked like he could have still suited up nice nice man always a long time favorite of mine RIP 3. Steve Smith’s broken leg. My PSLs were on 35 yard line Panthers side. I saw him crawl hand over hand on the ground by the near hash mark to the sideline instead of waiting for the trainers and a gurney. Toughest player I ever saw.
  10. When Smitty made the crazy PR, I thought we may had a slim shot, but just didn't have the firepower left. Our entire offense was Smitty down the stretch that year.
  11. No one was beating Seattle in Seattle that year. Certainly not whomever won between Chicago and Carolina. That game was a war zone we would have needed the redskins to pull off the upset.
  12. This thing has been dragged around the mulberry bush so many times I had forgotten that was a major objection of mine to taking him. Physical traits… where are the things that are above average by NFL standards? There wasn’t a single one. To go with the below average stuff. It was all processor point guard facilitator gobbledygook.
  13. I'm speaking over the span since he started, isolated on our wins with him as a starter. There were a few games (I.E. Houston, Atl, etc. where we held then to under 15 points). But yes, our defense has been doodie, and they by no means have won us games outright. Not trying to say our defense won us those games. But some of their efforts helped combined with the run game.
  14. I also wouldn't say Bryce has a stronger arm than them. Arm strength probably on par.....but Burrow just a vastly superior passer than both of them. Jalen obviously one of the premier QBs on the ground. Then we have our guy.....who doesn't actually have a trait that makes him stand out.
  15. Ain't that the truth. Concert prices have absolutely skyrocketed in recent years and the CEO of Live Nation is whining about how the concert is still way underpriced.
  16. Don't know what you are referring to but how many games did the defense win for us last Year? Seems to me they lost us some games that would have been wins after Bryce brought us back
  17. Damn I'm losing my memory. I was still thinking 2005 -- that was the NFFC year, but you're right about 04 being injury crippled one. 05 was injury ridden towards the end at RB (which made me think we had more guys out)...but that was Smitty's triple crown year where he was NFL highlight reel to the max. If we were at full strength, we could've gone back to the SB IMO.

  19. Morgan “played” 13 games in 2005 but didn’t finish a lot of them and was generally pretty beat up. Got taken out of several games with “shoulder stingers.” 2005 was the season his concussions just became too much and he’s said so in interviews. We know this now looking back. This was around the time they started writing all the stories about his hyperbaric sleep chamber and special mouth pieces etc. he couldn’t stay on the field Rucker, Buckner and Minter were all washed. Buckner retired after the season. al Wallace and Jordan Carstens were rotational players? thomas Davis was a rotational safety in 2005 who only started two games. Secondary in general was pretty bad. Gamble specifically regressed notably. Passing defense was 21st in the nfl. And gamble is probably the most overrated defensive player in panthers history.
  20. oooh kinky, is that an achilles hill in your pocket or are you just happy to see me????
