  1. Past hour
  2. No combines or pro days yet. Any inside information DJ is basing his mock draft on is still premature. I’ve noticed a lot of locks taking us the NT from OSU McDonald and the IOL from Penn State.
  3. I’m surprised someone has finally decided he’s no longer a “young qb”
  4. Even Cam. Just hoping Bryce is the next one. I’ll take my chances. It isn’t about what he does at that point it will be about what we do. Same as with Sam, Baker, Cam…. If we do well, it doesn’t matter what they do.
  5. Meanwhile we're over here holding onto Andy Dalton and his zero career playoff wins like our team culture depends on it.
  6. Piggy backing off what @LinvilleGorgementioned, I don’t think Canales puts much stock into individual players so much as he values his precious scheme. circumstances are obviously unclear and age is a factor but Thielen had good chemistry with him too. otoh he loves “his guys” so who knows people are complex shits difficult
  7. My gut tells me it’s going to either Robert Thomas or Troch. Would love both somehow.
  8. They have to pay him he's a great WR and he and Bryce have great chemistry
  9. Today
  10. It’s insane. Some would have never stayed regardless, but the talent sieve is real. Baker, Sam, Luvu, Butker, Reddick, CMC, DJ, Joe Brady. I’m sure there’s more, but that’s all I can come up with right now. I sincerely hope Coker isn’t next. Just imagine him going somewhere like the Patriots or Saints.
  11. Probably just something with their HTML coding. But anyways. I do like us finally drafting a Center. If it lands that way and we take the best one available I'll accept it as progress.
  12. Thanks. Too late to edit mine. This is weird. I took it right off the page where that stuff was. The weirder part is the page looks totally different graphic wise using your link.
  13. Shorten the list to two (or three) QBs and it does that job.
  14. i was suprised they actually wrote anything negative about him. also puts into perspective when people try and claim he is trending up that none of the stats support that at all. basically he is who he is
  15. For some reason that link takes you to 2021. For reference these should work. https://www.drafttek.com/m/2026-NFL-Mock-Draft-Round1.asp https://www.drafttek.com/m/2026-NFL-Mock-Draft-Round2.asp
  16. Looks like PFF finally took the gloves off. "Young finished as the Weeks 1-17 QB19 in his 2025, third NFL season, underwhelmingly marking a career-best season-long fantasy football finish. His full-season 71.5 PFF offense grade is just the second-best among his three NFL seasons. After improving his passing play in 2024, Young worryingly reverted to his rookie season form in multiple categories." "Young’s stable rushing metrics are also notably decreasing, resulting in his yards per rushing attempt average declining from 6.5 to 5.8 to 4.2. After averaging 0.38 missed tackles forced and 4.0 yards after contact per rushing attempt as a rookie, Young’s respective per-play averages decreased to 0.16 and 2.3 in 2024 to 0.11 and 2.0 this season. Young, 24, is firmly on the hot seat entering the 2026 offseason and could oneday fimself as another team’s reclamation project."
  17. I think he is beyond any sort of coaching help. He couldn't dedicate himself enough be a decent college football player until five years into his career, apparently. At the rate that it's going, he would be close to the end of his career when the light finally flips on. It's best to move on. Let him be someone else's problem and focus on getting NFL players on the field.
  18. The list of ones this org let walk in just the last few years is staggeringly depressing.
  19. On offense, yes I agree that we are missing good QB play. He has not shown he can throw us out of being made one dimensional, against good defenses. The ones that can clamp our run game down. He has had a few legit decent games and a couple three really good games. Problem is, he started 17 games.
  20. Puca is right at the same rate. I think it just means both offenses are good at moving them around and hiding them in bunch formations etc.
  21. The draftek site has us drafting Connor Lew Auburn at #51. Which according to their rankings makes it a 10 spot reach. He is their top rated C. https://www.drafttek.com/2026-NFL-Mock-Draft/2026-NFL-Mock-Draft-Round-2.asp I don’t know how to rate draft sites. That one is easy to navigate
  22. Because he played well against man coverage which he saw quite infrequently? The lack of man coverage hints something else to me: teams do not respect the Panthers passing game. We all know this, but seeing it in data is interesting. I'd hate to let Bryce go and see him blossom elsewhere but I can't help but think that all this team is missing is an efficient quarterback who can just execute.
  23. Intelligent, big, strong receivers who run good routes, know how to get open, catch damn near every ball thrown their way and come up clutch in big moments don’t sign for cheap and barring injury have very long and successful NFL careers. I sincerely hope Dan and co recognize what they have.
  24. Business as usual in the NFL. There's a reason why ERFAs never sign big long-term contracts. It's because there's no pressing need. The team controls their rights for the next two seasons as long as they tender them. Don't commit long-term until you have to. It sucks for the player but it's just rhe business of the NFL. Even if you're totally sold on the player anyone can suffer a career ending or altering injury at any time so until you have to commit long-term you're better off not.
  25. What else do you call forcing a player to risk life and limb playing with Bryce for a year for chump change
