  1. Past hour
  2. I love the idea of signing Howell but I doubt it involves any chance to win the starting job.
  3. What he said obviously isn't the CASE the team clearly expected a prime Russell Wilson/Drew Brees combo of some sort you can see that from how the plays were designed before they realized hes too much of a b*tch to attempt the things Wilson did and not accurate enough to make the throws Brees did.
  4. I'm not too concerned about that from Horn. If Jaycee is in a situation where he needs to tackle someone, he's probably in a bad situation to begin with. His job is to stop the reception from happening. Once it happens, I'm fine with the safeties cleaning up the tackling.
  5. Right so your issue should be with Tepper, Fitterer and Morgan not Bryce Bryce certainly didn’t ask for this dog sh!t organization to trade up to take him at 1
  6. This may surprise you, but there's no real evidence that David Tepper shares your feelings on either of them. On the flipside, his recent comments on "what they were building" actually did sound pretty positive. Granted, behind the scenes stuff and unexpected stuff happens (both guys could get caught hitting on m members of the Top Cats, etc) but there looks to be enough good will around both of them that it's likely take way more than just a down year from Bryce to get both of them sent to their rooms without any supper.
  7. You don't give up what we did and take a guy #1 overall if any of the crap he said is true.
  8. He gets some blame for missing key throws. He gets some blame for limiting the playbook per Canales words.
  9. Bryce is so bad I'm praying they sign Howell and give him a shot in Canales modified run/spread/PA air Coryell.... Brycey cant consistently hit the deeper plays to make it effective.
  10. theres copium and then there is whatever this is Godalmighty
  11. I think he has improved..... very very slightly year to year at this rate with his limitations he will finally cap out as Brock Purdy in 2036
  12. It took awhile but as Bryce progresses he’s essentially becoming exactly what they expected when they drafted him Bryce was never supposed to be Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen or Joe Burrow. Bryce Young was pegged as a point guard type QB that can give you a handful of special plays/throws a game. The ones that are crying about the trade still are the ones that never understood what exactly Bryce is/was. You can disagree with trading up for a QB like Bryce but you can’t hate Bryce for that. Bryce bailed out the coaching staff and OL enough times on Sunday. He did his part. He extended multiple plays and some big time anticipation throws. There’s at least 4-5 really good plays from Sundays game where Bryce was damn good. Canales is the one who says we just need a few special plays from our QB per game The FO and even Tepper knew what they were drafting when they took Bryce. Hell, Tepper called him a point guard himself the night of draft. It’s on the FO to surround him/a QB like him with the proper pieces to be successful. Which they have not.
  13. Side Note: Having once dated a gymnast who was approximately the size and build of Shawn Johnson, I'd just say don't underestimate their power just because they're petite
  14. All true but if the blueprint exist and they ignore it then that's pretty stupid. Unless personnel makes it a non-option seems like an easy call. Also the Saints are a bottom team and some winning teams avoided that strategy with better rosters even if they don't have the divisional knowledge that the Saints have.
  15. Yes I am sure he is loving having one of the worst offenses and worst performing qbs in the nfl. Especially after being told DC was some offensive dude that could "fix" bryce. I am sure he is estatic about that fact
  16. im well aware of that you do know the motion required to generate a throw like that is extremely painfull on the opposite shoulder too right? Also it was the longest pass he threw all night at 27 air yards.... hardly a "bomb"
  17. Yes, yes there is absolutely a way it works. How often do you ever see a coach and gm get multiple chances at picking the qb? If it happens its damn rare. And the jury is still out on Morgan. poo draft last year, 2025 is trending down so yeah I suspect after next year we will have a pretty good resume to judge dan and dave.
  18. You're referring to the guy who not long ago got stung by the criticism of how many different coaches he'd been through in a short cycle? The same guy who also not much more than a week ago went on record saying he really loved what he saw Dan Morgan and Dave Canales building here? That David Tepper? Okay, sure Lemme guess: Is David Tepper sitting right next to you in the room again?
  19. he is a fool to think that if it goes sideways next year, after picking up the 5th, that tepper will let dan and dave paint bryce as a scapegoat and let them bring in "their" guy in year 4. No fuging owner is letting that happen.
  20. Not really. Frankly, there is no one "way it works" in the NFL... And for whatever I may think of Tepper, I don't believe he's quite dumb enough to put blame on two guys who at the moment are doing decent jobs (especially Morgan this year) for not succeeding with a guy that it was his insistence we take.
  21. My solution: Defenders launch with all your might into the QB's head. You're going to get flagged anyway, so punish the QBs who want to slide. It's the same 15 yards if you try to avoid and happen to graze a bitch-made QB flopping like a landed trout, or if you spear him in the chest with your helmet. So go all out. Eventually the QBs will start to question if the free 15 yards is worth the sledgehammer they're about to take to the dome.
  22. I think I read they are keeping him out there for his blocking skills lol so, last pick in rd 1, that they traded up to get…..blocking I think they just use him wrong. He is never going to be that polished route tree runner…if they wanted that Ladd was there guy
  23. Lamar slightly built a made of glass aging duel threat (yea hes 28 but that's old for his play style). Mahomes suffered a busted kneecap in 2019 on a sneak. Rodgers ran them all the time until is late 30s..... not the same as not believing the guy has the strength to make it successful.
  24. Not that any corner wouldn't struggle with this kind of speed, but it's the only time I'm slightly asking myself is horn okay when thrown at.
