  1. Past hour
  2. This too. It must be nice to be a well run organization.
  3. Improved is true. Good is a different thing. I think that is the issue, he has improved to "not very good" from "really bad." Are we to assume this progression continues? If so, it probably means 2-3 more seasons before we see "franchise caliber" QB play on a consistent basis. And I really don't think anyone buys into that notion of consistent improvement at this point.
  4. I understand having a plan B. I just don't think they are actively looking for his replacement at this time.
  5. I would throw in the Cardinals game, the Bills game...hell pick any of his stinkers. They all are ugly.
  6. Or letting desperate teams trade up and give you day 2 picks and you still draft the guy you wanted anyway.
  7. I don't know. I think Coen has done a pretty good job down there.
  8. Yeah, I'd honestly rather be sitting on Bryce with no major future commitment than Lawrence on a franchise QB contract. The former situation gives you options, you're pretty much stuck with the status quo for the foreseeable future in the latter.
  9. Oh absolutely. There's a spectrum of how heavily it weighs. Team boards always keep this in mind when they're building their boards and tier-boxing.
  10. If you're going to post comparisons, you should post them all. If you take the time to look, you can see he has improved in pretty much every catagory: TD%, TD-INT ratio, succ% (passes going for 1st downs), yards/game, adjust yards gained per pass attempt, 4th qtr comeback, game winning drives etc.
  11. I am kind of amazed that the organization still believes. It definitely shakes any remaining faith of a turnaround, that's for sure. Of course there is an element of, "well what do you expect them to say?"
  12. Brooks had plenty of time. ACL rehabs shouldn’t take that long these days. There was a botch in there somewhere, but I doubt more time was the answer.
  13. Neither do I... Also not a big Trevor Lawrence fan either. The "bigger and stronger" thing is probably the main appeal there.
  14. I think need is always factored into the BPA equation. I mean, of course every team is always going to claim their draft pick was the BPA on their board. It's not like a team is ever going to admit that they passed on perceived better talent to take a player based on need but I think "BPA" really means "BPA for our team" and that factors in things like roster need, scheme fit, etc. that aren't necessarily related to pure talent level.
  15. If they are not looking for a plan B if/when the wheels fall off then they will not have their jobs long.
  16. 1st we MUST win against the Saints. A loss and everything else is a mute point. Week 16 is our season. If we can beat the Bucs in Carolina we stand a chance regardless of week 17.
  17. Graziano does say he "talked to a bunch of Panthers people" and his takeaway was that "they still believe in him". My read on the extension talk though is that it's mostly hypothetical.
  18. PS: Xavier Legette is bad, and I don't need stats to know that either
  19. I think his ceiling is higher under Dave Canales
  20. I haven't looked at Bryce's comparative stats because I don't care. Remember, early season we went with a very run heavy aproach. Passing stats were bound to be minimized in those game plans. If you do wanna focus on individual production though, you can't just look at the bad games. You have to account for the phenomenal near 400 yard game he had just a few weeks ago. He's shown what he can do. That's undeniable. But again, it all comes back to the consistency question.
  21. I don't think they are looking for his replacement. I think he fits what Canales wants to do. I think they are looking for continued improvement and believe it will come with time. I don't expect them to try and extend him but unless he just craps out the rest of the season, I would expect them to pick up his 5th year.
  22. Wild that ESPN, the network thats been carrying Bryce’s juice box since he was drafted, is now starting rumors about his extension.
  23. This would remind me a lot of when Star fell to us Woods is a baller this would be a great pick I think our biggest need is EDGE/Pass rush juice, this would help with that Second biggest need IMO is MLB Tied for 3rd is TE/FS Other than edge those are good positions to "need"
  24. Thats the benefit of always drafting near the end of the 1st round. Good defensive players always fall and they are right there to scope them up.
  25. Bryce as a starter (12 games vs 12 games). Sets up perfectly given the week we fall on. 2024 - 195 pass yards per game, 20 rush yards per game, 21 TDs, 11 turnovers 2025 - 194 pass yards per game, 10 rush yards per game, 19 TDs, 13 turnovers
