I can't wait for this team to play him on an opponent's team. That's going to be a fun game...if he can even crack a starting lineup again after this run

The Hall of Fame case for two different NFC South quarterbacks

Cam definitely has the stronger case IMO but I think his career was cut too short for him to get into the HOF. -
This Bryce Guy (General BY Discussion)

The market for him will either be extremely small or nonexistent but we should at least try. I would imagine the price would be something around a conditional 6th or 7th rounder. Even if we end up cutting him, just let him move on somewhere else so he can develop and let us move on with our franchise future not being held hostage by a bust first round QB. -
I know You know, it isn’t just the 4th qtr how many times has the offense scored more than 20 points …and they are very poor in all offensive categories

Yeah. MVP, 1 loss season and a ring? That's a wrap. If only we had some hindsight(especially Cam), maybe we protect him more, HE protects himself more and we are talking about the end of a lengthy, HOF career in Carolina. -

In order to get in, Cam has to actually retire. I don't believe he's done that yet and has no intentions of doing so any time soon waiting for an opportunity for a comeback. -
That would prob end up in a 1:1 trade for Tua hahaha

Yea, I think for sure if Cam wins it in 2015, they would’ve found a way to get him in the hall. Guess the same could be said for Ryan. Sucks, because that 2017 year, I believe if they could’ve just got by the saints in the playoffs, we would’ve gone to the Super Bowl again. Cam carried that squad on his back like no other. If only one of Kaylin or Funchess catches their gimme TDs -

I think had either Ryan or Cam gotten their ring, it might be a different discussion. That looks large on their legacies. -

Yep, he shone brightly and was gone quickly, like a shooting star. We also have to remember that statistical arguments aren't likely to be as big of a factor as human elements. If you read the accounts of the HOF committee discussions, I think it's much less statistically oriented and far more opinions of ex-players and coaches. Ryan was a very, very good QB throughout his NFL career but I never considered him elite. He was always that grouping behind the truly "elite" players. Absolutely stellar career but not HOF caliber. -
Yes and some of the free agents he bought in, questionable it is just not working with Evero. Having one or two defensive impressive games a year, isn’t enough and to be frank, most of those times it was those teams beating themselves they need young, incentive and aggressive in their DC , not passive most of the times and aggressive at inopportune times

Neither. -
It is possible to not blame him directly for the loss on Sunday, there were obviously some other big issues, and at the same time evaluate him as not cutting it overall. Ask me how I know.

If refs didn't rig SB 50 Cam might have had a shot if his career pretty much stayed the same. But since he was derailed by injury, I don't see it happening. -
53 spots is tough to fit a single use player in, especially when you can just sub in an extra OL or TE to perform thise specific FB functions. You have to be an offense that REALLY uses a lead blocker a lot to justify someone like that, even if they play special teams.

Matty Ice won’t get in either. Another great player who was responsible for Atlanta’s best seasons, but just isn’t quite hall worthy.
