Our QB just threw for 54 yards and a pick in a game where the entire offense only managed 139 yards and our glaring flaw is 3rd down defense???

JFC....I was looking at other NFL Missed Tackle stats and I found out that among qualifying players, Jaycee Horn has the worst Missed Tackle Percentage in the entire NFL. I knew he was having a bad season in that regard but I didn't think it was NFL worst level. WTF

His confidence pushing the ball down the field got shattered early. His first game against the Falcons I still remember the Jessie Bates picks and then the first possession first game against the Saints last year in Canales first year he tried to fit it in a tight window in the middle of the field and got picked. He just doesn't have the arm strength for this league.

Honestly, I might have to take a look at the 3rd down pressure/blitz rates. I don't think we blitz on 3rd down very often.

Yeah. My thing with Bryce is that he can. He just doesn't. I know some don't think he can throw a deep ball, or fit passes into tight windows, or even throw in the middle. He can. He has. It's just that some games he just doesn't. For whatever reason. That's the most confusing part. The inconsistency is mind numbing for me. I'd love to see Canales just force him to let it loose. Teach him to read deep to shallow. Check downs for him should only be if he's moved from his spot. Period. He wasn't like this at Alabama. I think we broke him.
