    I agree on all accounts here, I'm just saying they have pushed that ball to the point that not with ickeys injury they need a T and we need at least 2 ILBS a S a TE veteran pass rusher/true #1 edge.... Lots of holes honestly....

    The trade space allows us to use that full amount for the remainder of the season because we accumulated it with guys like miller,slavin and Jarvis missing significant time, so thats the real number we have to stay under during the regular season and that can be on our roster come post season, our post season cap space is around 20M and thats the number and thats the # the guys who lace up have to be under.

    Depends on price. Also, upgrading via the draft is very cheap. Cheaper than extending him on a starting deal. This is something that is long overdue.

    13th best pass blocker at C according to pff (take it for salt) 32nd run blocker, (not such a big issue with the guards healthy) I would agree but with the holes we have other places this is one that can wait.

    For whatever it's worth, I do think he is a players' coach and hope he does well wherever he winds up so long as it is not with the Falcons.

    As am I, this is his peak hes not going to get better IMO, 26 year old rookies rarely do.

    God stuff like this reminds me our amazing our 2013 pass rush was.... 60 sacks and the lowest blitz rate in the nfl.

    I'm expecting a sophomore slump for Shough who will be 27 next season.

    Showed the rams final drive and how we played 10 yards off literally every WR and TE the rams had the entire drive. Smh bring the heat at least if you lose it shows you tried

    I agree, what i'm saying is they mostly limited him to running sweeps during the regular season when he should have been getting more looks on actual routes to prepare him for this kind of situation.

    If we can keep him at a reasonable deal as an IOL backup, that would be outstanding. We do have to upgrade there though. He is a below average NFL starting center.

    Honestly, that very well may have been in the equation. I wouldn't be shocked to see it. It will be even more funny if they overdraft Simpson. Another Alabama QB bust created immediately.

    Because they nailed a LT and got what many believe to be a franchise QB in the second? (Mind you this board trolled the Shough pick when it happened) personally many a rookie qb has regressed (especially guys who only started a handful of games like Shough) when there is tape to study in the offseason on them.

    No, we should just deal with his inconsistencies in hopes that he improves at play calling and being a head coach during the game. It'll be worth the payoff if it works out, since then losing an OC wouldn't be so penalizing for us.

    We will jut have to disagree on that. Horn has made some plays this year so there was no reason not to have him running that route. He ran a good route, got open and had the ball in his hands. He just dropped it. He'll catch it the next time. I do agree with the terrible play calls prior to that.

    Yes he absolutely should. He is horrible at game management IE CLOCK MANAGEMENT and his offense is actually pretty well designed hes just bad at calling plays.

    Outside of Bryce young (whose impact is debatable) we haven't had a no impact top 20 pick in the 2000s.

    Honestly even though Bryce impressed me in wc weekend, not a chance he can consistently get the ball deep enough to make use of Shaheed, if Tet has to slow down half the time Shaheed would be useless.

    There is no potential path for Chambliss to be a 1st round pick. He is a mid-round guy, at best.
