At minimum shouldn't have traded Howell. McCarthy ain't ready and if he's not ready after a full year of being able to just focus on absorbing the offense you gotta wonder if he's every gonna be ready. Too early to panic if you're a Vikings fan but panicking is in the back of your mind.

He looked way better than the start of last season. Just two throws i blame on him, throwing to XL in traffic instead of using his feet and not throwing a catchable ball on 4th and 1. Pff agrees.

Time to just run that John Fox 3rd down draw and punt. Everything happening too slow for McCarthy right now.

Last I checked he ranked dead last in most stats and was bottom 3 on pretty much every thing else.

Hopefully about at least 13, potentially all 16 more Ride this bitch out on the rims and if we're in the running for the #1 pick, keep riding them, if we're not but still a Top 10 pick, go for a tire change and give Hooker a start or two and just see what might happen. Not expecting him to show he can be a long time solution in that situation, but if there isn't a great QB option for where we might be picking, it could let us pass on drafting a QB, use the draft capital to build the defense and give him a shot in 26 with a new backup who can start if it goes poorly.

We have a late bye or I would say bye week. As is, if there’s not drastic improvement I think we’ll know by week 6 or so.

I hope we have an entirely new QB room next season
