Corbett is most valuable provided Mays leaves or we make a mistake and commit a large sum of future money to him as a starter. If we can finally get a starting caliber center on the roster, Mays will immediately become the top backup to resign. Nijman is a good backup. We should attempt to get him back at a league minimum or similar deal. Outside that, we have to be serious about a LT signing or draft pick. We have no player on the roster that is capable of average or better LT play.

Morgan was also responsible for one of the worst drafts in franchise history with that 2024 draft. I think it's some of both. We have to hope he has another 2025 caliber offseason in 2026.

I wasn’t a believer until I saw how the rookie class contributed this year so give Morgan credit, he did very well with the roster in 2025. He drafted the likely offensive rookie of the year. He also made shrewd moves like trading for Mike Jackson last year too. If Morgan has another draft like 2025, the Panthers will no doubt be in the mix for the playoffs again. From the sound of it they’re targeting pass rushers so that might make the defense better by default if he hits there. Maybe the addition of Tillis helped too, but this was the first draft I wasn’t left thinking a 12 year old playing madden could do a better job.

I think it's more empty than some will admit. But I also attribute some of that to Evero's piss poor talent evaluation and personnel management. I am not a believer in Morgan but Fitterer is a bar that hopefully will never be lowered.

Biggest thing Bryce needs to do is stop laying these dud games. There’s obviously certain styles of defense and personnel that make it hard for him to survey the field given his lack of height and arm strength. But consistency is the biggest thing we haven’t seen from Bryce. It seemed like every other game was a dud for him in 2025. Just getting him to play decent in every game would be a major improvement

Dan Morgan being a defensive guy can probably scout better defensive players than in years past. Scourton and Princely seem like they’ll develop with the team. The roster was just so destitute after the Fitterer worst GM in the history of the NFL years they it will take awhile for the cupboard to be fully stocked. It’s not empty like it felt a couple years ago at least.

I was shocked Rob Chudzinski got a head coaching job, Evero has been knocking on the door of becoming a head coach for a few seasons

I agree here in principal. That’s what made John Harbaugh such a good coach over the years and why he has so many of his assistants that became head coaches. But at the same time if you hired a guy specially to develop the offense and call plays then taking that away from him and adding someone else to do that would be a potentially relationship destroying decision.

Imagine if Mike McDaniels followed Harbaugh to the Giants as OC.

Yea this wasn’t even a critical signing until the icky injury now it’s he’s a must sign player. Make it a 2 year contract, Icky will need a reliable backup coming back from a serious knee injury in 2027

Who really cares about yards all QBs seem to have lower yards at the moment. What I want to see is 3rd downs being converted, big plays being converted and dumb mistakes cut down

They both have to overcome terrible QB's, though. I agree on the elite power of both defenses but the suckage of those QB's is something that has to be accounted for.

Im a Bryce supporter and ive seen him get better every year but this is his last year to try get the inconsistentcy out of his game. If he plays like hed did in the Playoffs week in week out hes a franchise QB to me. And all that lines up with a strong QB class on paper in next years draft. So next offseason we're either gonna extend a constantly good Bryce of be in on a rookie QB

Yet as the FO has failed him somehow he has been one of the worst personnel evaluators on the defensive side of the ball. Both things are true. The FO has set him up for failure but he is one of the worst talent evaluators in the organization and proves it every offseason. Again, I don't think any serious NFL person would consider HC interviews as a serious measure of coaching prowess.

Yup and Chambliss is now suing for a 6th year after getting denied. Apparently Ole Miss is paying him $6M to play another year. He's not getting that in the NFL, not a 3rd round rookie contract. No wonder he's adamant about going back. Usually the NCAA backs down in such instances. Duke's Mensah entered the portal at the last moment, one source says Miami is the likely target. The ONLY underclassmen in this entire QB class now are Mendoza and Simpson, both RJRs.

He’s one of the worst QBs under pressure you’ll ever see. He can time a deep ball well, but if he wasn’t on Payton’s squad, he’d be on the Nova Scotia Elephants

BC suffered a ruptured Achilles, so it's kinda difficult to envision him as a more important signee than Corbett at this point. Although it's easier for linemen to return because they don't have to jump and make a lot of cuts, it isn't a guarantee. Even less so at 100 percent. I have read that it would probably take at least two years for him to even return to his old self (again, if he does). As always, hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.

Depends on where you look. In it's purest sense, it's just the dissemination of information in furtherance of a cause. Believe it or not, propaganda doesn't have to be negative, and it doesn't have to be objective. The cause doesn't have to be just or unjust. That's the purest definition, but everyone can believe what they want.
