This isn’t a Darnold thing, sadly this is a Panthers thing. Worst record in the last decade in the NFL and still yet a winning season. Jets, same story. This is Tepper. This is mainly a front office and by proxy, a coaching thing. Finding success with the worst in the league is very hard to do. There was a Browns player interview who basically said the franchise can kill players. Aikman said it too. Darnold’s come back is very impressive and very rare. That is, if you’re a fan of the game and not a butthurt Panthers fan who only watches Panther games. It’s sad the Panther’s franchise isn’t competent enough to capitalize on talent and at the same time established talent with options won’t even come here.
