Evero runs a defense that is a bend & wait for mistakes defense. That's why it only flashes a handful of times a season while getting blown out most games. Requires an offense that can get & build a lead early. If the Panthers can get up by 10 points, the weaknesses of Evero & Young can be covered up. TMac keeps the defense honest with his presence & this opens up the running game. Allows Young to be strictly a point guard & not have to carry the offense. It won't be sustainable against the better teams. We'll need playmaker in the front 7 & a QB who can come up clutch in close 4Q games.

Undoubtedly he's a very solid player and was a really good acquisition. Now the question is how will he Jaycee and the rest of the secondary fare when we go up against a really good QB and our offense has to sustain drives to keep them off the field too long.

the defense doesn’t go up against records. you could have out south meck out there against the falcons Sunday.

Jared Allen really the only other one I can think of. On one side he only played 1 season and wasn’t that massive a difference maker on the other it was a really damn good season.

At this juncture I don't think you have a point that doesn't involve going to any lengths possible to portray Bryce Young as anything but one of the worst busts of all time. Brady for his career had 7.4 YPA. The top 20 in all time list for YPA hovers at an average of around 7.7. Bryce Young for his career so far is lower than Joey Harrington. 2024 was always exaggerated play based off how bad he was paired with Canales and excluding the week 18 complete anomaly game of his career you get… Deep passes: 5 of 24 with 3 INTs, 0 TDs. PFF gaslighted folks into thinking his 50/50 and bad balls somehow should outweigh reality and somehow makes him good. Those stats above also include the stretch where he was deemed best deep passer. Which is nutsville.

I honestly thought last season if you took away names and numbers, he played a little better(like 1-2%) than Horn and he didn't miss a snap either. Same this season, he's ballin without the Panthers getting sacks. Given his contract, he's a super bargain on early returns too.... I think Jimmy Horn is the cut, the WR I thought would be cut Campbell made a great ST play and has the frame that Dave looks for in WRs. I will cry PS hype tears when it happens.....

It's starting QB's. I should have been more clear. I was more referring to Clausen. I thought common sense would tell us that Cam Ward isn't a good comparison yet because he has only played 3 games. I mean, we can, but with a sample size that small it doesn't really tell us anything and definitely doesn't answer the question of if Ward is or will be a successful NFL QB.

He has played much better, that week one was the worst display of Panthers LB Ive ever seen. He's awful young is what I kept hearing, needs time to develop pro-skills. Panthers have no time to give, so its grow as you go............

Mike Jack is the perfect complement to Horn. Definitely a sleeper vs compensation! As for Horn, the way wrs get hurt, I doubt he gets cut. He may honestly get active status over Etienne bc of special teams.

In college Bryce went 59%, 65% and 67%. As he continues to improve in the NFL I think he'll end up about the same trend line overall as he had in college. I agree on the 50/50 balls.
