Legette had an outstanding season his last year. That's undeniable. Considering his terrible QBs, covid disruption, and simply personal tribulations, you have to take all of that into account. You're trying to act like no one wanted him. He was over-drafted by us somewhat, but I bet that he'd have gone somewhere in the second anyway. It's easy to make all kinds of hindsight evaluations, but there was a lot---and still is---of upside with Legette. Sometimes you take big swings and miss. But, like I said, I still think it's too early to be giving up.

I think Cam nailed it though. Like yeah, you're working hard. We see that. But hard work doesn't mean anything if you're not working right and it's not translating. It's not translating and Cam pointed out that the stuff he's working on really isn't the stuff that would benefit him immediately. He's trying to put a roof on when the foundation ain't even poured yet.

Or you could look at it as the only outside speedster option is down, and dressing Horn would allow us to still have someone running some go-routes on the outside to try and keep some safety help deep instead of shading over to T-Mac's side of the field on every snap. Even if there is a 0% interest in actually throwing the deep ball to Horn Jr on those plays, at least it would just be useful for keeping the defense honest.

I mean, come on, you really can't base anything on two games, especially those last two of Legette's. AD Mitchell is not lighting the world on fire by any means, and certainly didn't his rookie year. One thing I will say is that a change of QB, as well as competent coaching, can make a huge difference.

Perhaps. Everyone says he works on his game. Legette was a lot better early last season, and then he was hurt. It's been a struggle since then, but I just have a hard time believing that this underperformance will remain.

I record the games so I can watch the full game but fast forward through all the other stuff. So I’m just having lunch with the wife and watch the game tonight. I highly recommend this approach.

You can only really play him in the slot. Hard to activate Hunter and Horn when a big body is already down.

I am basing this on his entire body of work. Quite frankly, it speaks volumes. It's not like he was tearing it up with Dalton last year either. The best chance he probably has is some serious pine time and working on his game.

I used to be a diehard. Jake and Cam days. A loss would wreck me for a day or two. Now I actively pull for them to lose so we could move on from Canalas and pillows. I didn’t think I could hate the coach more than Rhule but canalas is that guy. Every time I look at him he just seems so phony and one big gigantic pu$$y. Near close to HC material. Every loss and losing season gets us closer to David Tepper having enough and selling.

I mean, the safe pick was Ladd, but he wasn't without an injury history. Sometimes you guess wrong. As for myself, I'm not burying the kid, but many of you are based upon the sentiment. Bury away.

I'm starting to thin Horn Jr is going to be one of those mini camp wonders who never is anything meaningful, and I really liked what I saw/heard about him from early camp reports too. But if he can't even get a jersey the week we're down one of our other WRs, then I'm not sure there's much hope for him on the horizon
