  1. Past hour
  2. A friend of mine's daughter got bit by one at Hanging Rock State Park, while she was 6 months pregnant. Had to spend several hours at the ER, but eventually they sent her home without getting anti venom. Let swelled up, but that was about it.
  3. Expected points through rushes is factored in. I didn't discount his rush yards. Now if you are arguing that he's the best dual threat QB in the ACC, I'll agree with that.
  4. I agree with you, King is a clutch Qb, heck of a player.
  5. We do not need to bring in a random stop gap. It accomplishes nothing. This is Bryce's year to seal his fate. Hes garbage all year then we draft his replacement. Winning a couple more games with a temporary qb is pretty useless.
  6. Id take someone who can throw. Mediocre qbs sound great about now
  7. I've had a Easter Brown and Taipan cross my path in the last week lucky its coldish here to slow them down
  8. Yesterday
  9. If you're Tennessee you absolutely have to go for the killshot in OT, settling for a field goal screwed em. Well the kicker missed the game winner at the end of the 4th quarter as well, I wouldn't have even attempted a field goal in OT. Get a TD or die trying.
  10. The problem we have with Bryce is i bet he looks fantastic in practise going against our garbage DC. Maybe if he got to practise against something different than backed off cover 3 we might see better performances
  11. I'm not talking about statistics. I'm not PFF. I'm talking about watching the games and saying "who's the best college QB here?" and it's Haynes.
  12. You know you can’t judge running QBs strictly via passing metrics. He is averaging 130 rushing yards and 2 TD a game on the ground to go WITH his passing
  13. Don't even remotely want him. We of all fan bases should know exactly what he is by now. At the worst case scenario he might play us out of drafting a QB and put us into QB limbo again with his erratic play. I would honestly prefer to be either consistently good or consistently bad. Finishing near .500 doesn't really help anything. I would hate to go back into that mode of cycling through mediocre veteran qbs again, because that's what I think would happen if we bring in Jameis Winston.
  14. They are horny and aggressive right now but chill for the most part. Anytime someone walks on brown grass or around pine needles, need to watch where they’re stepping.
  15. Current reality is Haynes is 5th in the ACC in overall quarterback ratings. There's not a single category that produces those rankings where he's better than Carson Beck.
  16. UGA beats Tennessee in OT with Tennessee settling for a FG and UGA answering with a TD.
  17. Is the ACC in college? Then yeah, he is. Haynes is a better QB than Beck. Beck has a higher potential ceiling but Haynes is better than him right now. You're confusing potential ceiling with current reality.
  18. No, and i already explained why ITT... if GTs kicker shanks it, Clemp has the ball at midfield with a minute left to win the game rather than going to a wonky ass college OT where anything can happen. Why did UGA use their timeouts at the end when Tenn's kicker had never kicked a game winner before in his life? You always take the chance to win it in regulation!
  19. The original quote was "Haynes is the best QB in the ACC". He's not. If the quote had been "Haynes is the most valuable QB to his team in the ACC". I'd not argue that.
  20. Um, because we are talking college football. You essentially admit you are viewing in terms of how they project in the NFL and their future. THAT makes no sense given what the convo is. it would have made you a better basketball player in HS than Rodman. Tom Brady doesn’t get to be considered a college great because he is the NFL GOAT.
  21. Way too late. Should have got him for pennies instead of Teddy Bridgewater many years ago.
  22. We're talking about college QBs here. How the project to the NFL in terms of what we're talking about is irrelevant. I mean, there are great college players like The Golden Calf of Bristol who most can watch them as they dominate in college and say yeah, that guy doesn't project to the NFL but damn he's a beast at this level. Based on your logic, you cost Alabama a national championship refusing to yank Jalen Hurts for Tua who was the better QB at the time despite having a lower talent ceiling.
  23. Lol... FSU and Miami would like a word with you. Dabo refuses to adapt to the modern game and his team is falling off precipitously as a result. He will never coach a team with a player who makes as much or more than he does. If Dat Beaux can't be the king of the mountain, he'll take his ball and go home!
  24. If GT doesn’t get the kick off or shanks it wide right….then you would say it was well played. Outcome doesn’t really matter sometimes. A coach can be dumb and works out. A coach can play something smart and it not. but have at it. Doesn’t really matter. I’m willing to finally start to admit Dabo is likely done….and not using those timeouts got zero to do with it
  25. This makes no sense. Do you work in the Panthers front office? Haha. Like above, this makes no sense. How else would you rank QBs other than their ability to play the position at the highest level. I was a better high school basketball player than Dennis Rodman. That doesn't make me a better basketball player than Dennis Rodman.
