  1. Past hour
  2. We can get him. All I'm saying is that you have to at least look into acquiring Parsons if he were to seriously become available. Two firsts is just the cost of doing business.
  3. the dude will be 32 next year and is currently being load managed, what fuging leverage does he have? You are banking on him having some all pro type season and that is frankly not in his dna. He is a good RT. Period end of story. So far for the excuses for this we have: 1. He deserves this 2. This frees up space to sign or trade for God knows who 3. We are getting a deal because he is going to ball out this year and hold us over the barrel Goddamn people just Goddamn
  4. I'm not yet convinced we have our Jalen Hurts.
  5. This sounds like a send off contract and it’s well deserved for Moton.
  6. If we had no rule changes maybe it would make sense. But the game has evolved dramatically since the early 2000's
  7. Run to pass and pass to run. Have a great defense. The Eagles just used that to perfection in 2025.
  8. Yeah, let's wait and pay the franchise tag next year of around 27 million and paint ourselves into a corner with no leverage if we wanted to extend him that 2nd year. I like signing him now for 22 per year for 2 years. That cheaper and smarter all the way around.
  9. Pro tip, if your examples are from 20 and 35 years ago its probably not the best example
  10. Obviously, the QB is the highest paid position for a reason. Historically, pass rushers are the second highest paid players for a reason
  11. Like it or hate it there's a reason we did it now and I think it has a lot to do with our 2 rookie pass rushers being banged up
  12. This poll was to determine your side of the Huddle civil war wasn’t it.
  13. We do have a QB. Furthermore, Ray Lewis won with Trent Dilfer. Lawrence Taylor won with Phil Simms and Jeff Hostetler. Peppers almost won with Jake Delhomme. It doesn't take an elite QB to win a Super Bowl, it takes an elite team, or at least a good one catching lightning in a bottle.
  14. It’s probably the kind of stupid bullshit that tepper has done since arriving in Charlotte, most notably with the training facility in Spartanburg: make a deal, agree to terms, then demand a little bit more at the very last second after all the work has been done. It’s stupid 80s businessman bullshit
  15. Interesting that this is almost 50/50 0-5 and 6-10.
  16. How did a Theilen thread turn into a…nevermind.
  17. If any decent QB can thrive then why are the top 16 highest paid players and 17 of the top 20 all QBs?
  18. you are all over that cmac ext thread as well, fits you like a glove praising this and that one, I probably would lay low for bit
  19. We've been talking about contract. The contract wasn't stupid by any stretch. His play on the field since he signed it is proof. The trouble you're having is separating his contract and play on the field with the Panthers handling and trade of him afterwards. I 100% think it was dumb to trade him. I understand the thinking but I would still much rather have kept him.
  20. This is why the panthers have the leverage, you either pay up with a decent trade package and if you don’t the Panthers have a good receiver on their team.
