  1. The interception last week was his fault too. I've never seen such a slow moving TE in my life. He reminded me of KB after he ate all those burgers.
  2. Unless we get some help on defense I don't see us winning any more games. Teams are going to run all over us. It's embarrassing to see running backs getting 7,8,9 yards per carry. That said if we were to beat the Cowboys I think we'd have a successful season.
  3. Sorry about that. Hey MODs can you modify this to add (as per Fox Sports article)
  4. We are never going to rebuild this team if we don't give those that we hire a chance to get things done. You can say they suck, or they were only hired because they are the only ones we could get. I think Morgan is doing OK. I think we have to give them time to get things right. I know this team may go down as one of the worst teams in NFL history, but we have to hit bottom before we can go up. We have to give Morgan and Canales time to get things right. Offensively, we need a couple more players but at least we have a good offensive line. Defensively we have some pieces, It doesn't help that our entire defensive line and linebackers are all injured or at least the majority of them. It is also not the coaches fault that they are injured. Hopefully, we get some more good picks and become at least competitive next year.
  5. I would jump on this as soon as possible. Bryce Young, QB, Panthers Would they really cut bait and move on from a No. 1 overall pick? The Panthers have been a different team since they switched to Andy Dalton, and if they're sticking with the veteran quarterback, it's probably better to deal Young now than in the offseason. If you're a team without a QB of the future, taking a shot on Young is low-risk and low-cost — basically two years and $10 million after this season. The Panthers could wait until they draft a quarterback in April, but the demand might not be as strong then. A team like the Dolphins, unsure if they can count on Tua Tagovailoa due to multiple concussions, would have an inexpensive plan B who would upgrade their backup situation if nothing else. Potential match: Young to the Dolphins, for 2025 third- and sixth-round picks
  6. Thomas is garbage. Sanders should get 1000% more reps over Thomas.
  7. Thomas has to be the slowest, softest and weakest TE I have ever seen. Fitterer should be drawn and quartered for giving him an extension.
  8. I watched yesterday's game and I was very impressed with Rourke. I would love to see him fall to the 2nd round.
  9. It won't happen but I'd take it in a heartbeat. He's better than Young. Imagine. Young would be their starter in 2025 which IMO means Cleveland sucks and will be a top 5 pick in 2026. We'll have two picks and in a position to get whatever we need. If by some chance Canales turns Watson around we'll have a QB for a couple of years. If not we still have two top picks. BUILD THRU THE DRAFT. If we got a 1 and 2 for Young I'd be ecstatic. Throw in Watson. NO BRAINER
  10. He wasn't this and he didn't do that and he's blah blah blah. Give the man some space. Kind of hard to win games when your defense is playing with Rookies and Backup.
  11. Considering the state of this franchise he's doing well. He's building a culture with what he has. I don't think anyone is going to anoint him the next John Harbaugh. He needs at least 2 more years to show he can turn us around.
  12. I don't know why there is so much hate for Canales. He's got the offense moving. We were the worst team in the NFL last year. We addressed the offense and have some quality talent. If we get a defense we'd be winning games. Whether you believe he's a QB whisperer or not is strictly a matter of opinion. Many of you want to point to other factors as to his success with QBs. I personally believe he helped Geno and Baker to fix parts of their game. Because he can't fix Young, I don't think anyone can, doesn't mean he doesn't know what he's doing.
  13. For me it would have to be a QB with all the right tools. I don't want a college winning QB but has questionable tools (ie Young). If not than we address the defense in a major way.
  14. Another bone headed move by Fitterer. Drafting Corral, who I admittedly liked, in round 3 and Howell dropped to the 5th round.
  15. Agreed but trading for was the question. I'd personally would rather draft one, if a good one fell to our pick. If not, it wouldn't kill us to give Fields a 1 year deal. I just think Howell is going to a starter in this league for someone in 2026. If we don't get one in the draft I'd push for Howell.
  16. In Fields 1st season he had 7 TDs and 11 ints with a QB rating of 73.2 and Howell was 21 and 21 which is 3x as many TDS but double the Ints with a QB rating of 78.9. Not to mention Howell almost had as many passing yards in 2023 (3946) than Fields had in 2 full seasons as a starter (4112) . While I agree 21 ints is excessive it doesn't mean a first year starter can't fix those issues. PEYTON MANNING had 28 ints in his first season as an NFL QB. Howell isn't as mobile but isn't a statue either. We don't need a running QB we need a QB that can make the throws and guide a team. IMO more of a Canales QB than Fields. If Daniels didn't fall into the Commanders lap than Howell is probably still their QB. Fields is going be benched for Wilson this weekend. It tells me Pittsburgh isn't happy with his performance. Lost QB job in Chicago and demoted in Pittsburgh. I'd rather give Howell a look before Fields.
  17. If we were to trade for a QB I'd rather trade for Sam Howell. He would be much better in Canales's offense than Fields. Fields didn't pan out in Chicago and doesn't look much better in Pittsburgh. Howell did OK on a terrible Commanders team.
  18. We definitely need 2 backs with Chubba being the #1 back. Brooks should take Sanders job and be that back that gives Chubba a break. Watching Sanders go out there pretty much guarantees that we are going to punt.
  19. This was my exact thought. Even in a different type of offense the lessons learned will pay off.
  20. Fair point but when your D-linemen are getting destroyed at least he's making the tackle.
  21. Yes. I would love to sign him long term and hopefully the front office is making a push to get it done before the trade deadline. However, if he's not willing to sign than it's stupid to keep him. It will force Moore, Legette, Coker and the other WRs to step up and make plays. We need to build through the draft and getting extra picks will help.
  22. I wasn't so much thinking about us. I am just surprised that 5 other team have 1 win.
  23. There were 6 teams with only one win 1/3 of the way into the season? What really sucks is that we pick 6th if the draft was held today.
  24. Yeah and that catch by Legette was amazing. I also liked the drive after they went up by 12. We answered and got it back to 5.
  25. So we lost another game which is no surprise but for he first time in a long time we were in the game until the interception. When we were done 22-10 Canales called some great plays and we got back in the game. We held Atlanta to 3 points and it looked like we were heading for a score to get us even. Almost doesn't mean much but I was happy to see us still in the game well into the 4th quarter.
