  1. It would probably have to be the perfect storm for him to get everything right this time around.
  2. Here's the question for all you Cap geniuses and I mean that in no disrespect. Say we don't trade him for cap reasons. He goes down in 2022 AGAIN. Now we are stuck with a commodity that will be severely devalued. Maybe all things considered and we take a chance to get rid of him, regardless of the cost, now. Possibly get a 2nd or 3rd for him. I love CMC and hope his two years of injuries are behind him and whether he stays here or not I hope he has a long and productive career. Fitterer has said, we will listen to any offer.
  3. I've always been a optimistic person when it comes to the Panthers. Each year regardless of what the reality may become I have to hope and pray that when the season starts we are going to be relevant. So here goes. Rhule may have come to his senses with the hiring of an upgraded coaching staff. McAdoo - We have the talent on offense to be good. McAdoo is an experienced OC and should be able to do what Brady couldn't and that was halftime adjustments. If he is competent we might just score enough points and be in many more games. Of all the hires this is my favorite. I think Campen is going to get our offensive line straight. i think in 2022 we'll see our 2021 rookies actually play and be productive. If Fitterer can get us an offensive linemen or two that has performed well this past season. (no reclaimation projects) Campen could turn our worst group into something respectable. Wilks did a great job when he was here before as a DB coach. This time around he has better talent. Teaming up with Snow could make our defense better than 2021. If we draft a QB than we allow him to sit behind Darnold and Cam (yes i hope we resign him to be on the team in 2022, I'm done with the PJ Walker trial). Let Cam and Darnold battle it out in preseason to see who starts. If we draft a lineman I would rather go with Linderbaum and get a stud at center and let Christensen play LT. Maybe even trade down a couple of spots and grab an additional pick or two and still get Linderbaum. I know many things must fall into place to bring this team back to contention but we have Rhule for one more season. Might as well hope for the best. Who knows maybe 2021 was an eye opener and he actually can be a good coach. (hears the entire huddle explode) But just maybe.
  4. Awful? Considering we went to the Super Bowl with him. I kind of find it a stretch that he was awful.
  5. While he sold it under terms more his liking. He wasn't keeping the team and had he not sold it they would have made him. Indirectly he was forced to sell. Miami and Washington's scandals are far worse. That's the point. You're nit picking. (rolls eyes)
  6. An article I read earlier today on both teams says differently. Richardson was forced to sell for far less discrepancies. Dolphins' Stephen Ross could lose team by owner vote if NFL investigation into tanking allegations proven true
  7. Are you accusing me of being a racist? Be careful about how you answer this.
  8. First of all there are several articles that these two could be forced to sell by the NFL like they did to Richardson. Secondly the constant pressure on teams to hire minority coaches is an annual topic. Teams don't come up for sale very often and it would seem to me that the NFL may try and get at least one minority owner. You guys freaking out about a simple topic is childish.
  9. With the NFL looking into the scandal in MIami where the owner paid Flores $100,000.00 for each loss and other issues pertaining to what Flores has in his lawsuit. Plus Daniel Synder's problems in Washington. Do you think the NFL is going to push them to sell and if so do you think they will push minority owners? The NFL can make them sell the team but can they make them sell it to a minority?
  10. Being the sole reason for our Mantra "Keep Pounding" would tip the scales for me too.
  11. You could say Fangio was the orchestrator of Dom Caper's defense. But considering he had to bring us together as a team from inception I wouldn't argue.
  12. Well Del Rio's defense did have those players but you still have to have a decent game plan and he was great for his one season.
  13. Henning was a SB winning OC with the Redskins and probably the sole reason why we came back in SB38. After Billicheat knew our every step in the 1st QTR. Henning changed things up and had it not been for a Kasey poor kick off. We might have won that game.
  14. Only Changes DC Jack Del Rio You didn't list OC and mine is Dan Henning
  15. Had the video replay been allow in a challenge like it was years ago they'd would have reversed it. But like I said. In Real Time I can see how they missed it. I couldn't tell until after the replay.
  16. I can see in Real Time that the ref missed the Cincy TD against Ramsey. They just missed it but the one at the end of the game was absolutely terrible. Both teams were playing that way the whole game and for the refs to meddle in the outcome that was was wrong. The Rams had the better offense team in the 2nd half but the Bengals Defense was standing toe to toe with the Ram defense. It was a shame that 3rd down call was made. The 2nd hold on Kupp was legit but I feel the refs ruined a great game by getting involved.
  17. Those of us old enough to remember the "Dome Patrol" in New Orleans. This was the first sign of life in New Orleans franchise. They were doormats like today's Lions (I won't say today's Panthers). There defense was nasty and spearheaded by Mills. Before the Panthers came along I actually routed for them because there defense was special and I like Bobby Hebert. At 5'9" you would think he would get run over by 6 ft plus offensive linemen but he always was there making plays. He was a beast. Long before he became a Panther I knew who he was. I was super excited when we grabbed him to be an Charter member of the Carolina Panthers. Zach Thomas was a good player and should at some point make the HOF. You can argue he was better but there is also an argument that Mills was better. I saw both and I'll take Mills.
  18. I know his contract said he had full control but maybe Tepper told him that's off the table if he wants to stay employed. Probably not but maybe.
  19. Even if we draft OL with our first pick it is not going to be enough to fix our line. Unless we trade out of the 6th spot or trade away a player or two for draft capital, I just don't see how we can improve without tapping the free agent market.
  20. I never really think about the cap repercussions but it obviously must be considered. That is what I am most fearful about. Rhule is on the hot seat and starts trading picks from 2023 and beyond to save is @SS. That's kind of why I hope we trade down. Pick up a couple extra picks in rounds 2 and 3 and still get a quality player in round one. Fortunately for us this draft has many offensive linemen that can fill the bill.
  21. I was goofing around with the Draft Simulators and did one without any trades. Our first two picks are 6 and 106. 100 spots in-between picks. No 2nd and No 3rd. Is that pick at 6 worth holding onto knowing we have no more picks until all of the potential starters have been drafted? We are basically giving in that we will only have one starter from the 2022 draft. I pray we don't trade away picks next year to get back into this draft which is why I am a proponent of trading down and getting a couple extra picks. Either that or we shop players on our roster for additional picks. CMC being a key candidate. Last year i was fully against trading him but with a 2nd year of him being on the IR it just doesn't seem to be a good idea to hold onto him waiting for another injury filled season. How do we take advantage of this draft without sacrificing picks from 2023 and beyond?
  22. What they did to Fox was nasty. He had no chance to succeed. Richardson was preparing for the lockout and put it on Fox to win with nothing. Probably the saddest season of our history.
  23. Six is a good spot for us. I think we'll trade down and end up getting one of the QBs plus being able to get a couple more picks.
