how bad are the vibes coming out of Atlanta right now? Starting Kirk Cousins who is beyond gone as a starter making gobs of $$$. Raheem has clearly lost the team. They just lost to the f*cking Jets. I'll take the Saints starting Shough with the better chance to beat the Bucs although neither is going to have a good chance.

Request: Can someone do a deep dive on our Defense?
hepcat replied to CanadianCat's topic in Carolina Panthers
I will say that the 2nd half performances from the defense have for the most part been excellent. The defense is night and day better than 2024. Evero has put together some great defensive games so far this season, and a few duds. The Buffalo game was WOOF very bad. -
I like the Saints beating the Bucs over the Falcons. Falcons are dog doo doo

Adam Thielen Requests and is Granted Release
hepcat replied to TylerDurden's topic in Carolina Panthers
Probably. There's not really a spot for him on the Panthers, barring an injury. -
Panthers have to beat Tampa twice and win one of the two other remaining games. Unless Tampa drops a random game there's no other way to make the playoffs, and Tampa's schedule is cupcake.

Bryce might be the most frustrating player we've ever had.

Sometimes I think he might still be a little damaged from his rookie season, he got sacked and hit a ton. It was a running joke how bad the offensive line was that season but part of the reason was the offensive scheme. But at the same time, he played very similarly at Alabama, his bad games were just better hidden because Alabama is so talented. So I just don’t know. The bottom line is this team wins 0 of the games when Bryce has an off day, and he seems to have had many of those since coming into the NFL -
Right. I mean Bryce did enough at the end of 2024 to earn himself the starting job in 2025. But not bringing in a draft prospect or even a younger veteran FA QB to compete for the backup spot? Massive oversight.

The defense is the biggest difference in why the team is winning games.
-
That’s also classic Panthers brand football going back to the beginning. This team has only found success being a run first team and having a stout defense that forces turnovers.

I am starting to think he’s manic depressive, at least while he’s on the football field. Some games he looks like he wants to be anywhere other than playing football and then games like yesterday he’s smiling the whole game. It’s really weird. -
Moehrig justified in punching Jennings in the scrotum

CTE? Maybe -
We’re gonna love having a fresh Rico Dowdle coming off the bench when the games really matter against the Bucs. Hubbard got healthy at just the right time when Dowdle started wearing down. Having two backs who can carry the load is a necessity in a 17 game NFL season.

Well when other men are out there defending you for punching another man in the ballbag, that dude SUCKS. Shouldn’t have been suspended I take back saying it was a bad decision. Now I gotta know what Jennings was saying to get punched in the sack. Even Pat Surtain said this was justified. Should have never been suspended!

I am not saying this to be hyperbolic, I’m being genuine when I say that have we considered if Bryce has a mental illness? ADHD? Bipolar? Clinical depression? I mean some games he genuinely looks like he wants to be dead, and other games he’s manically excited. I’m not joking when I say this has to be something that is in the realm of the possible.

He said a successful former head coach

Go get a quote from his book about how he used to be a drunk porn addict and I’m sure there’s something good there

That game was rigged.

2, (didn’t lower score but impacted the game)3, 4, and 5 all happened.

They can’t put the ball in his hands at this point, it has to be the running show -
