  1. Deeee J Chark do do do do do do DJ Chark do do do do do DJ Chark do do do do dodo Dj Chark
  2. No one cares about Doug flutie ffs Some more former NFL players raving about young, saying his size won’t matter and that he’s a stud. https://www.nfl.com/news/2023-nfl-scouting-combine-alabama-qb-bryce-young-downplays-questions-about-his-s
  3. Stroud is the “safer” pick for sure, I just have this vision of us passing on Young and he turns into a superstar by year three.
  4. The original two glove QB David Carr is convinced we take Bryce Young. He goes on to say how the game has changed to favor offenses and he’s not concerned with Young’s size. All aboard the Bryce train baby. https://www.nfl.com/videos/david-carr-s-best-nfl-team-fits-for-top-2023-draft-qbs
  5. You don’t turn down the Rams offer for Burns and then trade him a few months later for less.
  6. The only people who think we got fleeced are idiotic Bears fans. The Bears were going to get a haul from whatever team they picked to do business with. Props to our FO and coaches for having the guts to make this trade. To basically only give up one first round pick next year is pretty phenomenal, considering several years back the 49ers used two 1sts and a 3rd only to move to the third pick for Trey Lance. Hurts to lose DJ, but WR’s come and go. Look at KC, traded their All-world WR (who is better than DJ) and then went and won the Super Bowl with a bunch of average WRs. We’ll reload in that department. Stating the obvious that this is a QB driven league. Short of sucking so hard into a top two pick, this is the best way to land an absolute stud that could define the franchise for the next 10-15 years. LFG
  7. Probably. If Lamar is really going after a fully guaranteed contract like the Browns gave Watson, I imagine the owners are attempting to make clear that Watson is an outlier and not the precedent. That said, if Lamar didn’t have the injury history he has, teams would say f it and sign him in a heartbeat….but the ravens wouldn’t have even let him go in that hypothetical.
  8. Good for him, definitely leaving the Panthers media brand in a better place than when he arrived. Long live the Black and Blue Review. Throwback to this insane BBR knockoff I randomly found on eBay and had to buy. Bill got a big kick out of it.
  9. Congrats Saints, you just got yourself a Kirk Cousins.
  10. The Chiefs just won another Super Bowl with like a 5 foot tall ninth round running back. Don’t do this
  11. I’m optimistic that the coaches will work well together, one small concern is the idea of “too many cooks in the kitchen”. You have several assistants with years of head coaching experience and guys who have interviewed for HC positions the last couple of years. If things go sideways, will Reich be able to keep those egos in line? I think he will be; Caldwell for example goes back with Reich.
  12. My guess is permanent nerve damage from Rivera trotting him out during the 2018 season with his shoulder almost literally falling off. It’s all documented on the Amazon show, and it was obvious for anyone paying attention that season.
  13. Can’t edit previous post but Damn, Smitty has some of the best insight on coaching searches I’ve heard. Great stuff.
  14. This Coley guy is horrible. How do you not at least prepare a little regarding the Panthers coaching search? Sounded like a random off the street that’s watched five minutes of football.
  15. I mean, fug Rhule and all but Tepper Sports and Co. doesn’t exactly have a clean record of living up to its agreements.
  16. I imagine he means fluff from the coach, ie all that “brand” poo Matt Rhule talked about. The HC can’t help if reporters ask him fluff questions.
  17. In the NFL a combo of good offensive line and good play calling are probably the most important ingredients for success. Even an average QB can look good behind a great line and good scheme. Panthers have the line, weapons on offense and hopefully now an offensive mind that will know what to do with it. All aboard the Anthony Richardson train?
  18. This. I was all for Wilks until this game. In the game of the season with everything on the line, he choked. I would rather fail with an unproven offensive minded coach than endure the mediocrity that comes with that conservative style of coaching.
