As usual, stats lie. O connel may have more yards and tds but everything I've seen him throw has been within 5 yards of the line or a check down. Doesn't pass the eye test. Still. Again.

His o loaded with swift, dj, Keenan and Rome was inconsistent at best. The d was bad. And the game management was atrocious and lost them games. He was terrible and made the team worse. I wish they kept him

Agreed. A lot of teams have at least 1 good wr, some have 2. Most teams don't have the same number of good og

I agree the whole receiving group is a work in progress. If you wouldve told me at the beginning of the year that our top 4 receiving options would be 3 rookies (1 of which is an udfa we cut) and over the hill thielen I would shake my head and wonder who were picking with the #1 pick. Now they are more potential than fact right now but they are better than I hoped but they still need a lot of work. Esp in the Redzone where I think x and sanders can feast

Compared to last year I see a shred of light at the end of the tunnel. Last year the team was bad and getting worse. Bryce was a bust. The o and d were terrible. We traded the #1 pick to the bears for said bust. Now Bryce is Hopefully turning the corner. We might have 3 rookie contributors on offense. No future has been mortgaged and we have our 1st pick plus the 2nd Morgan stole from the rams. But the d still sucks

Also Bryce had 14 less attempts and if tremble and x learn to catch bryces stats wouldve been better than teddy 2 gloves. But as I've said before stats lie. He def passed the eye test. For a game. We did not lose because of him. Now I want to see more

At least we get a max of 3 more years to figure that out for sure. The past few weeks have been promising but hes not a finished product

Iirc young got absolutely drilled a couple times while throwing the ball and he still stepped into it and i think completed a couple. He was also successful vs. The blitz and also didn't get hurt which is a big deal

With our picks we need pass rush, lb, Safety, a speedster yac wr, o line depth and I still want a mid round qb. We got 9 picks and 8 in the first 5 rounds. If they pull Off another solid draft we be cooking.

This is what I said about the eye test vs stats. Stats could've been better had tremble caught the td and Leggett caught the long bomb. Also there next to 0 yac. Now I want to see this sustained. Unless he gets hurt, Bryce should start the rest of the year. Dalton is not the future

The good: might have been Youngs best game and his stats should have been better, sanders was good, thielen was the solid vet he is The bad; still lost, the d still sucks at the basics a la tackling and coverage which cost us, redzone o needs improvement The ugly: sanders injury- was scary and I hope the dude is ok Overall a lot to build on, a lot of positives, took it to the 2 time Champs and scared the sh!t out of them
